Hansen is a government employee. As such, he is not allowed to to engage in political advocacy. The global warming scam is definitely political. Hansen is using his NASA position to further his credibility on psudeo-science of GW. He could/should be charged under provisions of the Hatch Act. It is not a violation of his personal free speech rights

The Hatch Act doesn't apply to this. In fact, while working for the government I frequently found myself wishing outloud that various people should be taken out and hanged.
Ordinarily no one cares about such things. Hansen is simply better known.
His acceptance of money from George Soros is a different business.

Hansen's boss is Dr. Franco Einaudi at the Earth Sciences Division franco.einaudi@nasa.gov
Einaudi's boss is Dr. Nicholas E. White at the Sciences and Exploration Division
White's boss is Arthur Obenschain at the Goddard Space Flight Center
Obenschain's boss is Michael Griffin, the NASA administrator, appointed by President Bush.

You know, people who think their smarter than everyone else are looking to the German model here.
A whole people consumed by propaganda became willing to participate in mass extinction.
This is another Nazi-esc self destructive model but without the bitter taste of genocide.
I guess the left figures it will be able to achieve critical mass for socialism with this ploy.
Personally, I’m a bit more optimistic. I believe America is capable of breaking the rise and fall cycle of free republics.

The clown hasn't been fired yet?
Why does NASA need a nutcase on its payroll?
