I think Obama is trying to unite the Democrats (only) behind him. When he speaks of being a “uniter” he only means opponents already on the left (ie Hillary supporters). I think he’s so far left he’s already written off conservaties as being Americans worthy of uniting.
So from this frame of reference, what he said in Florida makes sense. It represents an attempt to shift the “race” issue from the Hillary camp (which originally used it against him) to Republicans. This shift whitewashes history and gives Hillary’s supporters cover - its a tacit forgiveness of all the race baiting they did, in return for obedience during the general election.
Savvy Clinton supporters will pick up on and embrace Obama’s offer. Don’t be surprised if the Hillary supporters who want jobs in the Obama administration become the loudest critics of Republican “racism.”
Brit Hume just thinks Obama is the best speaker ever. I guess Brit never paid attention to Obamas press conferences.

Ask him, in public and in front of cameras, how he feels about communism and socialism. Don’t let him side step the question. This question should also be asked during the debates.
The Clinton’s may have an end-game in mind. If Obama is embattled and limps into the Dim’ Convention, the Supers will already be getting “buyer’s remorse.” If it comes out that Obama was really born in Kenya to an unmarried, underage US Citizen, I’ve read that he would be ineligible to be elected.

Obama started his journey speaking about change.
That was his prepared reason for running. What does he want to change?
Has anyone heard what he will change?
My opinion, he should never have the power to change anything.
We don’t know who is behind this fraud, but I know a lot of people that want to stop him.

That cartoon really sums up the ridiculous, not to mention very dangerous phenomenon of Obama, the magic Negro.
Surely in this country of some 300 million, someone of color could’ve been found who actually possesses qualifications to be President of the U.S. Even the simple ability to speak off-the-cuff would be appreciated.
Just the refusal to do town hall type meetings with his opponent, McCain, speaks volumes.
