A concrete barrier in the shutdown area at 90 degrees to the track seems MORE than a bit ludicrous. Now if there is a space problem then the track should limit the racing to gas classes. Great racer gone God speed RIP.

When I was in high school, the Eddyville Dragway in Eddyville, IA was the place. Then Eddyville closed and we all went to Bethany, MO.

Can’t they have like a sand pit at the end of the track to slow down cars in cases like this? Just a thought, and I’m no engineer, but it seems it would work ok?

We lost one of the greats yesterday.Always admired
Scott since that Mustang he first drove.Thought his
DHL Toyota was the coolest looking Funny of them all.

Never went to that track,it is for sure outdated for
todays speeds of the nitro boys

Hope all the TF guys boycott Englishtown after this.

RIP Scott, you`ll be missed by this family of fans

Throw up a pic of your Alcohol car if you care to.
