nowhere did I claim what you accuse me of . I said the writer of the article was a CCN, which I assume to be a Certified Clinical Nutritionist. I said it is almost a standard of care to refer a diabetic to a nutritionist, so that , if this CCN writer wants to find a culprit in Russert’s death , why not also look at the fact that a nutritionist involved in his care may have failed him. In fact, on the supposition that he did indeed consult with a nutritionist, it’s apparent from his obesity that the nutritionist failed to motivate him sufficiently to lose weight.
you had several thousand years to prove your point; pills are to address disease and disorders, more health to both of us without them.
My uninformed and casual impression from what I’ve read so far (in spite of that Newsweek link I posted earlier) was that Russert was not diabetic, though he might not have been far from it.
I think I'll go take my baby aspirin now, thanks for the reminder....hahahahahaha.
then he just had the bad luck to be a little dry and that's all there is... clot in LAD and the floor.
A DVT can't break up to form an arterial clot unless there's a defect in circulation. It will get lodged in the lungs as a pulmonary embolus.
The doctor said he was going to keep looking until he found something wrong with me. He said I was really boring. My blood work was normal, my chest x-ray was normal, BP normal, no pain, EKG normal. He said he paid especially close attention to my veins and arteries. They were normal.
I don't think he was especially interested in WHY they are all normal. He probably didn't want to hear it. The nurse had never heard of Ester C and didn't know how to spell it. He had never heard of the relationship between Vit C and pain. I take care of myself and am doing just fine.
You made many good points, but this one, in my estimation, is the most important. I do not believe twenty minutes of walking three times a week cuts it for someone who works sitting at a desk and relaxes watching TV. Our bodies are made for movement, and react badly when deprived of it.
