The point that I was originally trying to make is - if we are a nation act within the bounds of our constitution, then the courts could fine no fualt with are actions. In the absence of a declaration of war - anything we do it not war and as as such the object of review and specualtion.

If our leaders, from both sides of the aisle, had performed their constitutional duties, the court decision would not have been necessary. They (and we as their enablers) lack the balls to do anything right.

As to the specifics regarding 9/11. We need to declare exactly who did this to us. We need to publicly name the enemy (and you are exactly right as to who that enemy is). We must end the innuendo on the subject.

I agree that the enemy "islam", the basic tenents of their belief system is the anihillation of every non believer. The PC agents in every corner of our nation are afraid to say this for fear of offending someone. The simply fact is that want us dead.

"isalm" is not a religion of peace, it has never been and never will be.

The first target must be the countries that enable and hide the terrorists. Three come to the top of the list Syria, Iran and Pakistan. Syria and Iran look the other way, while encouraging the murder of our troops in Iraq. Pakistan provides a safe haven for terrorists to attack our troops in Afghanistan. We must call on these nations and tell them that if they don't put a stop to the attacks we will. Give them 2 days to comply.

I would use Pakistan as the example. The Pakistani government the is the single most destablizing factor in Afghanistan. Tell Musharref if another attack on US troops come from the border area in Pakistan, he will have 2 days to make certain that is does not happen again.

We need to tell the world that a friend of our enemy in our enemy.

If the "islam" world can not learn from one lesson, we will provide another. It took only two lessons for Japan to come to its senses.

This position will not be popular among the left, but I feel would be fine great support among the rest of the nation.

As long as we look the other way, turn the other cheek and bend over to make "islam" happy, "islam" contunue to get us in the end.

Your premise is mistaken.

A declaration of war (by whatever name) is not necessary when engaging in hostilities with stateless terrorists. To do would afford them a measure of sovereignty they don't deserve. See Barbary Wars, Philippines Insurrection, etc.

The President was granted full necessary power to deal with the terrorists by Congress. That fulfilled all legal requirements.

If you're referring to Iraq, the Iraq War Resolution had the full power of a declaration of war once hostilities began.

This "Declaration of War" argument is a red herring. It has no relevance to the situation.

I have to disagree a bit with the first part of your post.

Not withstanding the fact that this Country's Constitution has been under attack since the day it was signed and ratified , there isn't anything this administration has done in terms of stepping outside of the boundaries of The Constitution

If you recall, Congress not only approved the IWR but did so twice. The second time (which they insisted upon) was to show America that they too were patriotic and were fighters. By Congresses ovewhelmigng support and approval, the IRW was indeed a de facto declaration of war giving the POTUS the authority to act in the best in the best interest of the US national security as he saw fit. Declared war can only be waged against a specific country hence the need for the IRW.

For the most part I think he has done a pretty fair job. In reality he is fighting two enemies i.e. Islam and the enemy here at home. That's a pretty tall order and I admire his resolve and give him credit even though he has relented a bit under the unyielding pressure. There is probably not to many here that voice our displeasure's who could stand up to what he has had to

Far too many people here want to weaken our Country and that is actually the reason it even went to the SCOTUS. What's worse is that 5 of them side with the the enemy as they too have the same agenda.

After 911 and Bush stood tall and declared to the world you are either with us or against us was a great inspiration and the right thing to do. I remember when he said Osama was wanted "dead or alive" and then saw the criticism he received for it, well something happened to him and knew instinctively though maybe not yet aware that this was going to be a two front battle. I even remarked to my girlfriend that this Country won't have the stomach for this kind of war. I take no joy in being right about that BTW.

To win a war you must kill people and destroy things. It must be so ugly and you must show that you are willing to do what it takes to win that no one would dare to even look sideways at you, We have lost our way. Waterboarding, panties on a prisoner's head is torture? Our enemy is laughing at us and is embolden by our weakness and self destructive actions. They decapitate people, blow up innocent women a children for no reason. We give prisoners a diet that allows them to gain weight, become fit and live more comfortable then thy have ever lived before, yet we are the evil ones in amny of our own countryman's eyes. I want to puke.

Alas, this is the very thing that is going to get us into a nuclear war. The enemy thinks they can win or could care less if they lose. It's just a matter of time but it will come. This enemy must be destroyed, now.

Pakistan is on the verge of an overthrow by the true believers and Musharrif is walking a tightrope. A very tenuous situation to say the least given they have nukes and one that makes me glad I'm not the POTUS. No wonder these guys age so much.

The book of Romans says that God appoints the Countries leaders. I guess we'll all see what he has in mind for our future very soon.

P.S. The Constitution is not a suicide pact and is being used by our enemy to destroy us. They're folloing the dems example of how to lose very well. Hell they even have the same talking points.

I will be able to be proud of my vote, will you?

Proud that you helped turn this country over to a Marxist. Proud that our contemptible Supreme Court takes a hard return to the left. Proud that the constitution will be replaced by the North American Union Treaty under the marxist Obama and Demoncrat Congress? Well, at least your are proud.
