Maybe it should be spelled:
oprahbamaium
Just a late night thought.
FMCDH(BITS)
lol, that’s good
I wish we had a lot more of him around.
The sad part is that this guy is already like 76 years old. He’ll probably die of natural causes very soon, that is, unless the Mexicans assassinate him first.
ping
I’m surprised the Feds haven’t locked him up.
I’m quite sure the Justice Dept is full of imbeciles that would like to.
Thanks for posting this.
Joe was one of the last off the line. God bless him.
"He has capitalized on the fear and vulnerability of people who came into this country without documents, not in defiance of the laws of the United States, but because this country does not have a legal mechanism to seek work with documents.
This certainly qualifies as one of the ten dumbest statements of the year.
I suppose that when you're making excuses for criminals and criminal activity, it's pretty hard to say much of anything without sounding completely stupid to anyone other than your criminal constituency :-)
The opprobrium heaped in Arpaio's direction is water off a duck's back: after 16 years in office, the veteran lawman is showing no signs of mellowing. "
They feel the need to explain what a pinata is but assume we all know what opprobrium is...LOL
I'm guessing it's because it's extremely important to the 'reporter' that we not only sympathize the illegals with but that we completely understand every word of their language as well.
English, on the other hand...well, that's the language of the oppressors and so that's not so important.
That's all that his criminal antagonists and their supporters have is hysteria, lies and noise. His supporters, on the other hand, have the law, the support of the public and thousands of years of human history which tells us that what Sheriff Arpaio is doing is absolutely proper and reasonable.
i happen to support his crime supression
That's because you're an intelligent lady as well as a macho girl :-)
And mine as well. It's a sad commentary on our culture that a man who merely does his job exactly as he's supposed to is so utterly revolutionary, unique and contentious. Every lawman in the world should be doing exactly what he's doing, but most are prevented from doing their jobs not by any lack of dedication or an inability of any sort but by their political overseers who water down the terms of how they are allowed to operate.
Many law enforcement officers that I've met have confided that they feel the most frustration not from the criminals but from the politicians who prevent them from doing their jobs properly.
I'm guessing that if you were to set up a situation in most any community in the world where someone like Sheriff Joe is allowed to do his job correctly and without improper interference, you would have a similar level of support for him that we see in Arizona.
He seems very healthy and vigorous in the video accompanying the posted article here...hopefully he'll honor us all with his fine work for some time yet.
I'm sure that he also has a number of underlings who can step in to keep things going if necessary, as well as to run for Sheriff when the time comes.
You're quite welcome, and I'm delighted that you've found it to be worthwhile :-)
thank you
Oh, just like a bank-robber robbed the bank, not to defy the law, but because there was no legal mechanism to make a hefty, unauthorized and speedy withdrawal....I see now....how ignorant of me...
