Most of the oil is from algae and other sea life that settled to the ocean floor millions of years ago. The idea that it’s dinosaurs is a popular myth. There is even a theory that oil may have formed before living life. This is refuted by the fact that oil has some remnants of critters in it. What ever the case, fossil fuel is not dinosaurs. If it was, how could they get trapped in the tar pits?

Maybe a little off topic, but I can't help but wonder how the dinosaurs got 24,000 ft. under the ground surface, i.e. fossil fuels. ??? Someone please help me understand this phenomenon, please! Well, see, there was this deep hole in the ground and millions of dinos fell into it. This caused the oil to form, yep, that's the ticket.

Well, it is simply not happening. Worldwide there was a significant natural warming trend in the 1980s and 1990s as a Solar cycle peaked with lots of sunspots and solar flares. That ended in 1998 and now the Sun has gone quiet with fewer and fewer Sun spots, and the global temperatures have gone into decline. Earth has cooled for almost ten straight years. So, I ask Al Gore, wheres the global warming? The cooling trend is so strong that recently the head of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change had to acknowledge it. He speculated that nature has temporarily overwhelmed mankinds warming and it may be ten years or so before the warming returns.
Great post. Now tell it to John McCain and the rest of the sclerotic clymers at the RNC, before we lose this election and whatever's left of the economy in the next 20 years.
That, mis amigos, is the question of the moment. How, pray tell, do we transfer the science to the politicians who purport to represent us?
