You’re saying neither of them have speechified on the subject or released any position papers on an energy policy?

Because they’re cowards who can’t afford to speak about it or any number of other issues.

I’m saying neither has been quite vocal or specific as to how they’re gonna drop the price. (And yes, Uncle Sam sells us our oil, believe me. If he shut the hell up and let business be business, the price would be lower.

Look people, the frickin reason the fuel price is high is because there is competition for it from China which is guzzling it at a terrifying rate and the frickin Democrat Congress and environmentalist Nazi's won't let us have a rational energy policy. The greedy Middle East wants all the money it can extract out of the situation so it can build more solid silver cars for its “Princes” and spend none of it on developing reasonable countries. So There you have it. Just like with immigration, Congress is gridlocked, stupid and controlled by greedy and corrupt idiot Democrats, so the individual states are going to have to start passing their own energy legislation, just like they have begun with immigration. It ain't gonna happen on the National level. States rights are gonna make a huge comeback.

Well put. Unfortunately for me, my state is the furthest left of all and will not be helping us in the least.

"This has got to be the worst general election cycle in a generation."

You have to go back to Ford-Carter to find as bad a choice.

You forgot that we're suicidal and refuse to allow the use of our own resources. It's a self inflicted wound. Why should the ME "Princes" stop us from committing suicide?

Don’t you know? There is no gas crisis. Just ask Feinstein or Boxer or Pelosi. It doesn’t really matter which one said it but one of them said the high price is exactly what we need right now.

Why don’t they talk about something they can actually do something about—the 1967 UN Outer Space Treaty.

What crisis? I haven't seen any “No Gas” signs. That would be a crisis. Gas is cheap compared to Printer Ink.

How Come Neither Obama or McCain is Discussing the Gas Crisis? ...

because with cap & trade and all the lib/dem environmental proposals......$4.00/gallon gas will soon seem like a bargain!!!!

>>How Come Neither Obama or McCain is Discussing the Gas Crisis?<<

Because neither candidate has a problem with it. Enviro-Marxists love these high gas prices and will promote policies that ensure even higher prices.

The Republican party could take back congress and McCain could handily beat Obama if they would tell the American public that all of the areas that are off limits to drilling would be opened and the country would go on an emergency plan to construct nuclear and coal powered plants as fast as possible. But, I guess thats not going to happen.
