Why don’t you change your name to Troll. I must admit that I should have followed the old time-tested tradition - Do not feed the Trolls!

With McCain as President, Liberman and Grahm will be able to develop enough votes to block anything they don’t like. Neither party will have the strength in the Senate to force the issue. The trumverate will prevail.

Frankly, at this point I pray you are correct. I would honestly get on my knees and thank the Lord above if we wind up with gridlock after this election.

Please explain how a Democratic president and a Democratic Congress is a good thing for conservatives.

That is not a good thing for conservatives. I see no evidence that there are many conservatives, as most have drifted left. Republicans of today are more like Democrats of the 1960s. I've stayed the same, but the majority of them seem to have compromised their principles in backroom deals. McCain just doesn't represent me. I won't vote for him on principle. If the rest of you are satisfied with leftest ideal, go ahead and continue to vote for increasingly leftest candidates.

It looks like the leftest school indoctrinations has finally paid off. There are no more conservatives.

Frankly, I hate this election. We don't have any realistic choices worth a damn.

That said, the great Dr. Thomas Sowell weighs in.

And you do a great diservice to call yourself GingisK.

Really? I'm banking on Civil War II. Voting is ineffective. ;-D

Genghis Khan wouldn't follow the lame, as do you folks. He'd dig in and fight, like I'm doing. Following along like a good little GOP Sheeple just isn't my style.

Im not for BARR! Not by any means. But McCain has stabbed conservatives in the back way too many times. Ive taken a lot of flak from this but would gladly change my mind if convinced McCain isnt some loose cannon. The 2010 elections will be influenced by whoever sits in the WH...usually the opposite party wins. A McCain prez will encourage other RINOs and push out the few remaining conservative Republicans.

Obama is so bad there just well could be another 94. Either way McCain/Obama America loses and we have to come back another day.

Voted for Bush twice and have to wonder if Kerry had won(with Mccain as VP)if there wouldnt be a resurgence of the conservative movement. I dont know but its worth considering IMHO.

My old Republican party is almost gone.....Id like to see it come back. McCain wont do this and in faact will do what he can to silence the conservative base.

"I live in NC and will probably vote for Barr. I wont vote for McCain. Looks like we will dump Senator Dole too but that no loss."

The troops, their families and future victims of Islamic terror thank you in advance for your reasoning and decision. Oh, the SCOTUS will also reward you and your family for the next 30 years. Sheesh...

What indication do you have that McCain wouldn't place the same people onto the Supreme Court? None!

Please try to convince me that McCain nominees would be conservative. This is an important point, but none have offered convincing evidence.

Nice try....I dont trust McCain. As a combat vet and an expat with almost 20 yrs experience in N & W. Africa as well as most countries in the ME no one needs to explain islamanazis to me.

Well said GingisK, I’m still planning a protest vote by writing in Tom Tancredo. These GOP monks around here are getting as obnoxious as the Dims. (they probably are)

Ouch! That's gonna leave a mark.

Frankly, we're putting the emPHAsis on the wrong sylLABLE. No matter which one of these losers doesn't ... well, lose, the true task at hand is keeping either of them from doing irreparable damage to the country and the Constitution for the next four years. Forget that and it won't matter which one wins because we all lose. Forevermore.

Don't tell me who you're voting for. Tell me how you're going to keep him from royally screwing the pooch if he wins.

Obama’s nominees are certain. That’s all I need. Oh, I’m not happy with McCain at all. But that’s all we got.

I don’t trust him that much either. Obama, OTOH, is a given. Look at his anti-American posse. Whatever though, it’s your vote. Vote for the ACLU candidate or whatever. It’s still a free country for the time being...

This is true only because you won't separate from the Herd and vote your heart. If there really are conservatives left in the country, they will vote for a conservative candidate, regardless of the Party. I've got the guts to separate from the herd. Come on in, the water is fine!

No thanks. Not this election. Too much at stake to waste my vote on a sure loser in the general. Maybe some other time....
