Its a religion, dontcha know?
True, but the media--I longer make any distinctions, as all major media has bought this bill of goods--is promoting the lifestyle facet of Green, Inc. In other words, one can be Down with the Greenness and still profess something resembling Christian faith, Judaism, Buddhism, and so on.
See, that's the great thing about it! Commercial neo-paganism is universalist. ;)

This man should be McCains running mate.
Based on this article alone; I fixed it for you.

The earth needs CO2 for plants and trees....there is no problem with C02 here! It’s just a ploy to get people to buy carbon credits that “plant trees”. I read that England has issued carbon credit cards to people who must fill it out at the gas pump. I say...it’s sick!

The Left has very successfully and inextricably linked "Pollution," with "Global Warming." Even these two stout Republican lads, Sessions and Inhofe have bought it. Unless one at least one semi-scientifically literate Republican steps up and calls "bullshiite," we are doomed to a very slow economic decade or two, or more, or even longer... under increasingly socialist rule. Energy isn't the only factor, but the country is changed now, and not for the better. A sane energy policy is missing.
There are some 600 Congressmen and Senators. I can't believe out of a crowd of 600 educated, American men and women not one of the goddam lawyers understands the basic science fraud that is going on here. This is an unmitigated disaster for the country and it has been going on this way since the '70's.
Oddly enough, I believe Jimmy Carter understood energy much better than his successors ... or course his ruinous solutions and policies were ineffectual to say the least ... but the silly old SOB at least passed thermodynamics ... unlike the clymers who came up with ethanol from the corn crop!

Yep, they have found a supposedly politically neutral way to do it, through "environmentalism," and what's left of Republican spine is broken.
