seems we are being gamed by parlamentary style procedure.
There is no way to win in a kangaroo court so they make it so impossible to fight you lose no matter what.
(IOW you can’t have constitutional rights without the state rights. You cant have state rights without the constitutional rights. So the judge finds you have nothing. Of course they NEVER EVER EVER mention inalienable rights.)
LEGAL NOTE TO ALL: NYC did not prevail on the MERITS it prevailed because the Defendant folded in the face of withering court expense. IOW a deep pocket attack. (see also SLAP suits)
IT IS EVEN MORE SINISTER THAN THAT!
Consider, this just is holding the lawyer in involuntary servitude. (see 14th) Imagine what this does to people seeking lawyers for OTHER similar cases. A judge can ORDER you to work OUT OF YOUR OWN POCKET for four weeks? Pay for your staff, shut down for other clients?
Additionally, here is the really really sinister part, the lawyer is negotiating HIS OWN EXIT FROM THE CASE IN EXCHANGE FOR A DEFAULT JUDGEMENT?!!!!!!!
Holy smokes that is a HUGE conflict of interest. NO WAY SHOULD THOSE TWO MOTIONS BE ALLOWED to be entangled.
Is it time yet?
Time for what?
Think about the full meaning of the Second Amendment and why we have it.
ah,
Thre are many judges who understand the proper reason for the second amendment. I am very curious to see what happens with the USSC decision.
Here I would say no. This is sloppy reporting expecially given this is from Law.com and because this is a dismissal with prejudicial aspects to the client.
seriously, what kind of idiot judge allows a lawyer to say “let me out if I throw my client to the wolves.”? Obviously legal education in NY has gone the way of the dodo bird.
I stood up and cheered her for that remark, although at the time, I was sitting in my home office--LOL!
Gotcha.
Long overdue.
is there a youtube of that?
I honestly don’t remember where I stumbled across that clip—but I don’t think it was on you-tube. I’ll ask Susanna if she knows where I can find it, and get back to you.
