He also claimed his joining Trinity in the
first place wasn't politically motivated, and that if it were just a matter of gaining political connections there were plenty of churches in the Chicago area better suited to that purpose.
Ok, for the sake of argument let's take him at his word here. If B-HO didn't join Trinity for the political connections, then why? Why would he join a church (and stay there for 20 years) that spewed that much hatred that consistently?
Obvious answer: Because he resonated with its black nationalist, anti-white, anti-Semitic, anti-American message, that's why.
