Attorneys for polygamist sect leader Warren Jeffs want an Arizona judge to dismiss incest charges in cases pending in Arizona.

The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints leader is charged as an accomplice in a Mohave County, Ariz., court. The charges stem from two arranged marriages between teenage girls and their older male relatives.

Attorneys for Jeffs argue that incest charges should be dismissed because Arizona laws require both participants to be 18 years old or older.

Hardly ever see ice here, so I don’t think that will be an issue. If you’re talking the kind of bar that serves alcohol then there is no chance of that. We are 50 miles from a bar no matter which way you go.

We couldn’t afford all the fancy equipment, but could get Army Surplus clothes and wear our ATV helmets. We are going to look so good on TV- just wait you will see. We will likely carry our 30-80 year old deer rifles, but the media and most folks won’t know the difference. We’ll paint jackrabbits on the side for our kill trophies.

We’ll be the Redneck version of a modern SWAT team. Those of you that can tell the difference in all the equipment will be ROTFLYAO.

Of course it looked good- it’s amazing what a person can do when they put their mind to it. Hubby builds parts all the time- course his stuff don’t always look so good- but works great. He’s got a homemade air compressor and it looks homemade- when he fires it up people just step back a little and prepare to flee; but it works perfect just looks primative.

Then there was the tale of the Rabbit eyeballs, eaten by a cadet from El Cajon, who wanted to become an undertaker. But that's for another thread perhaps. :)

Yeah, you could have left that part out!

I probably shouldn’t post this on the net- but if LEO ever comes after me, they better just drive up to the door in their marked car (pickups here)knock on the door and tell me what they want and I will go peacable. If they show up in something like that I would likely feel they had declared war on me and greet them in a way they would not like. Most folks I know would feel the same.

Not exactly right Pete. Most of the folks on your side of the question are demanding criminal prosecutions first.

That's probably being arranged.

I hope you are wrong also, but sad to say, I wouldn’t bet on it.

I thought all along most of us on these threads agreed on more than we disagreed on in this case and likely had pretty much the same concerns- if only the shreikers and name callers and drama queens would calm down and post right or shut up. I think most of this thread has proved that to be true.

Later

Why did you address me and start talking to someone else?

it looks like the judge has a personal agenda that she must believe trumps the higher court's ruling.

If so, I'm sure the Higher Court will quickly disabuse her of that notion. They have egos too you know. Generally bigger ones, and they have bigger sticks too.

It's clear you are the one asserting in a response to Pete that "most" want "equal" whatever. You've been on most of these threads a good long while. You know very well a substantial percentage of the F(lds) supporters want special treatment.

Ergo, the response is to Pete (so he is disabbused of your contention) and not to you since you know better.

I like the second one- it is the scariest. But to make my point I want it to look like the one on this raid, so guess it would be the first one. No need for a slow moving vehicle sign the way I am going. If we see anyone it will be BP or a cowboy on a horse or ATV. License? We don’t need no stinkin’ license we can stay on private property all the way.

Let them try to sue. No Texas jury will give them a cent after they learn all the details of the disgusting lifestyle these perverts lead.

Like hell we won't. At least some parents in Texas have an understanding of CPS and their god d*mned police state tactics. I am a father in Texas, and you can be damned sure I'd be voting in their favor. CPS is WAY out of control.

I got to see all kinds of equipment during the shipments overseas. Corpus Christi was the major load out point.

Took grandson after a troop rally on the bayfront and drove all through the port. As long as you didn’t get out of your vehicle, which of course I found out the hard way, the didn’t care where you went. It was all very impressive!

Yeah, that would be a big kink in my plan- I wonder how many horses it would take to pull that thing? Might need a 20 mule team; which will be a problem because there are very few mules here and I think the burros people keep around for roping practice would be too little. Most of them only know how to travel in a circle on a swivel anyway so we wouldn’t get anywhere that way.

I would argue both sides, of course. ;)

That's the way to go- keep them guessing! I like your style.

Uh no, you are wrong. Calls for the state to abide by the law is in no way, shape, or form a call for special treatment.

You, on the other hand, have no issue dismissing state statutes, tossing the Constitution, or simply exercising vigilantism because you don’t like these people.

F(lds) supporters

Name them! I am tired of this type of divisive crap that is just simply not true. I have been on these threads since the beginning and haven't seen a single FLDS supporter. You and a few others like to throw that name and worse at anyone that doesn't agree with you 100%. Grow up and try to post like an adult.
