3.2 beer?

You know, I'm not sure. But that would explain a few things :)

Yes, we had 3.2 percent alcohol beer in the 60’s for those under 21 in the military. I first drank that watered down beer in 64 at Langley AFB in the EM club as an airman took me and my buddy in the club. His father was the head of OSI at Langley. In 66 I drank that same 3.2 beer at Fort Dix, NJ. While it was lower alchol content then regular beer, it allowed the servicemen under 21 to have a beer. I recall when NY was 18 to drink. AL was 19 to drink even in 80. The military was not PC back then. We had three types of clubs on Army posts. EM, NCO, and, Officer.

Hope that answers the question. Guess my age shows.
