Amazing picture.
What would he think about the way the fruit of his labor turned out?

That would be a gentleman named Patton. He’s answering a call of nature in the Rhine.

A symbolic gesture in more ways than one.

Right click on the image, then check out "Properties". I had hoped to find an image that better illustrated what's happening. Alas, that one is all I found. If that doesn't work, the river's the Rhine, the activity is depicted
here , and the man is a famously arrogant American general, heading east in 1945.

He he he.
I see that the ego doesn’t match the equipment.

Well, we’ll find out if the rest of Ireland thinks the EU stinks on June 12th; the day the referendum on the Lisbon Treaty takes place.
Bertie of course is all for a pro-Eurocrat Yes vote. Alas, I find myself in the very distressing position of being on the same side of an issue as Sinn Féin and Unite.
Vote NO on June 12!

In a few years the transition to formal Sharia will be easy.

That is a strange one, indeed

Can you find something in the news about this Lisbon Treaty vote and post it? I_T asked me to do it, but I’m at the beach puttering on my husband’s laptop and I can’t figure out how to do much!
If you get an article up, ping me and I’ll and I’ll ping the list, or you can copy the ping list from my profile page.

And here is what actually happened. Initially the committee in charge of the rules of the European Parliament turned down the amendment, but then against all the rules the representatives of the large parties just continued to vote until they eventually got the "right" result. Democracy? They can't even spell the word.
When federalists fall out
It is well worth the read - and you will understand how the "euros" are working.
