Looks to me like she bought one of the Urban Outfitters "Anti-War Woven Scarf" scarves at $20 a pop, or a similar product. Wonder if she has all the colors? Had to buy one right away, they pulled them from the shelves after a few weeks.

Or it could be a http://islam.about.com/library/products/aabybpalestinescarf.htm>http://islam.about.com/library/products/aabybpalestinescarf.htm

Matt Lauer was rumored to have one.

Thanks for posting that pic of the first Dunkin’ Donuts spokesman, Ray Rachael.

Why do people in show business who get a little bit of fame want to throw their politics into their livelihood? It just so arrogant to me.

Well, I guess the good news is that we haven’t killed anyone or burned down a DD.

I guess that’s why Urban Outfitters quit selling their peace scarves?

Look at the pattern, that is where the big difference is. They don’t have paisley or floral patterns. Ray’s does.

They aren’t clueless, they understand what they are doing.

By taking a symbol such as this and attaching it to someone like her takes some of the negitive charge people will have when seeing it on terrorists.

After 9-11 shows all over TV started having Arabs in positive rolls. Jodie Foster recently did a movie where some gang members kill her Arab boyfriend.

Oh, I think she is cute.
But compared to what advertisers want these days she is curvy.

Nothing like a chicom made woven anti-war scarf to show good fashion sense. And any guy who wears one is not only anti-war, but a fag.

She is not wearing a keffiyeh.

The keffiyeh is usually folded in half, into a triangle, and the fold is worn across the forehead. Often, the keffiyeh is held in place by a rope circlet, called an agal.

Malkin needs to attract visitors to her website and controversy sells - even when imagined as in this case.

Maybe, maybe not. See post 41. "Palestinian Support Scarves" come in a wide variety of styles and colors. Headbands too. They were popular a couple years ago both as a pro-palestinian and an anti-war statement

>>Malkin is way too sensitive sometimes<<

Exactly. She is wonderful at times and at other times makes us look looney.

I’ll never forget when she took the words of B16 and a quote from NPR of all places and said the Pope was pro-illegal alien.

Oh help me.

I find her voice to be grating as hell.

I was turned off when I heard that she was handing out DVD copies of “An Inconvenient Truth” on her show shortly after Gore’s so-called documentary was first unleashed on the public.
