That is really disturbing.
Calm down. You Americans are no Europeans. Nobody ever said this. Nevertheless most roots of your civilization are indeed European since the fathers of your shrinking white and hispanic majority took their European culture and religion to the then new world. The best thing is that most of you guys made something good and interesting out of your European basements.
Most Europeans do not want you to share our values just like we do not want to share yours. We simply detect that there is a growing gap between the big pond. In fact most of us are not really interested what you guys are doing as long as we do not have to pay for negative effects of your policy and your behavior around this planet.
BTW - the definition if America or Europe is “Christian” or not is something that might be disputed and dependable to the personal point of view. It is for sure true that most of us Europeans do have different views of religion and its role if we compare it with your personal standing (without knowing that). Just like most Americans will not accept your personal position on religion. Therefore your statement about European Christianity is irrelevant and childish BS.
The next two or three decades. It is impossible to give a longer forecasting.
demographics
I am well aware about the negative population development in Europe. Nevertheless it is not that different than the one of the (white) "high performers" in your country. Your relatively stable and high birth rate has its origin in those pretty muchachas that come over the Mexican boarder with their handsome but unskilled muchachos. "Young (white) urban professionals" in the US are not that different to their European cousins in regard of their fertility.
Agreed. Nevertheless there is no doubt that America is doing things today that would never have been done in the 80ties or 90ties.
You should not forget that we Europeans never had something comparable to 9/11. Therefore the mood in Europe is quite different.
It is called jealousy. We understand and don't care much.
yitbos
Nope. In the moment we Europeans for sure do not have many reasons to feel jealous about America.
