Well, I would not go that far, but he is to her left.

I see. Next the Dems will put forth that the right to same sex marriage is ‘coast to coast’ in the USA. Never mind that it is only the loony lefty states that are foisting this upon us. Yes, I live in a loony lefty state. C’est la vie.

I bet dollars to doughnuts he will spin out of that position before it is all said and done and then try to be on both sides of the issue to muddy the water. He is already doing that by saying he is personally against gay marriage (which is a lie) but for civil unions, which is a distinction without merit.

He will try to spin out of it just like he is doing with his “unconditional meetings with our enemies” position.

In Obama’s own words (Very, very Scary)

This guy wants to be our President and control our government.
Pay close attention to the last comment!! Below are a few lines from Obama’s books. These are passages in his own words:

From Dreams of My Father: ‘I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.’

From Dreams of My Father: ‘I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.’

From Dreams of My Father: ‘There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.’

From Dreams of My Father: ‘It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.’

From Dreams of My Father: ‘I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image,
the black man, son of Africa, that I had packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.’

And here's the clincher: (grab on to something when you read this:)

From Audacity of Hope: ‘I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.’

Is there any doubt of his intention.

The other significant factor with the Federal DOMA is that it defines marriage as man/woman for federal purposes. So same-sex marriages aren’t recognized by the federal government.

Presumeably if DOMA were repealed, then the federal government would not define marriage at all. Then courts would probably force the feds to recognize any marriage from any state, however any state defines marriage.

Obama has said that he opposes same-sex marriage, yet he wants to repeal the federal law on the subject. How does this make sense?

He is now and always has been a Muslim. Calling that building that housed the Rev Wright a Christian church is an abomination.

Indeed, damning. If true.

Do you have a link? Or could you provide a context for this quote?

The actual quote is as follows:

"In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging," he laments. "I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

Well, in context, it's really, really stupid (not to mention very, very liberal). But it's not seditious.
