As far as I know, Catholic schools accept no government money. I know my kids’ parochial school was supported by tuition, subsidies from the parish church and the diocese. And, LOTS of parent volunteers.
oohhh...I see there were fed lunch dollars involved...better they should brown bag it. Lesson #2 for the illegal welfare thieves is they find someone to sue, woohoo, way better than bingo winnings. Disgusting, shameful, and definitely unChristian.
I doubt you know the difference between the teaching of the Catholic Church and the prudential statements of some in the episcopacy which contradict the teaching of the Church.
Excuse me, but did I miss that these people were FORCED to send thier kids to Catholic school. What’s wrong with public schools?/s
I started school - Catholic - back in the Stone Age. EVERYBODY spoke English. When I started, I only spoke Spanish (Parents were here LEGALLY). One week later, I spoke English, thanks to the nuns.
Aruler across the knuckles is a powerful motivator!
“I doubt you know the difference” between supporting a bad idea and flawed church from changing it. The Catholic church has been spewing liberal agendas in the US for years - hence my departure. (Big words don’t impress or excuse.)
