I agree. In the end it’s between God and the individual.
“Speaking for myself, if I had been raised by Joe Kennedy AND had lost an older brother in the war AND had my next two older brothers assassinated I probably wouldn’t have turned out as well as Ted. “
It’s very interesting that you put it this way. Years ago I had nothing good to think or say about him. Becuase of the exact way you phrased it, I have for the first time put my feet in his shoes. I sure feel different now.
Thank you so much on behalf of my friend Dave and his wife. I really appreciate your thoughts and prayers for him!
May it please the One who ordains each man’s days to show mercy to this man now faced with his own mortality, true Spirit-wrought repentance even in his waning moments, and to work it for His glory.
The Kennedy’s have suffered too much tragedy, as a family. I truly hope that Sen Kennedy will have some good years left to spend with his children and grandchildren. He’s fought for his cause, as he saw fit. But, I think it’s time to take stock of his life, and those things that are realy important. I wish him luck, and I offer a prayer for the Kennedy family.
Welcome!
