Interesting I never saw it mentioned in the late 1970's an organization was passing out Bible's at the college I was attending.

That afternoon, the priest who hung out at the college was going through the trash bins retrieving the Bibles that were thrown in them. He was a good and decent priest, and I think his heart was broken by what many of the students had done with those Bibles.

That story never even got into the school papers much less the local news.

This soldier really screwed up. Instead of leaving it laying around, he should have burned it after he was finished with his target shooting.

You say “PC in a war zone,” but the Petraeus paradigm operates under the assumption that a little cultural sensitivity enhances stability in ways bullets cannot. I’ll side with the Army on this one.

Just so you know there is N-O-T-H-I-N-G about this on any of the DoD or MNF-Iraq news information sites. So until something appears there this whole CNN.com started story stinks to high heaven as more pig-shi*!
