Rule one, all liberals/communists/socialists know better than you what is best for you. You're too stupid to be allowed the privilege of freedom.

Rule two, guns in the hands of the great unwashed are too dangerous. Guns in the hands of your betters (read as liberals/communists/socialists) is acceptable because it allows them to keep you in your place should you get any idea they don't approve of.

Rule three, killing you is acceptable if it furthers their goals and can be framed as in the interests of the common good.

Rule four, you're a conservative I.E. evil, you don't deserve to live anyway.

Rule five, being a liberals/communists/socialists means never having to explain your inconsistencies to the untermensch.
