We know that because of the 1981 Mad Max classic 'The Road Warrior.' - He is an investigative reporter!

Hmm...oil execs are predicting oil will be back below $100 by year's end, and some moron pundit believes we'll be paying $1000 a tank?

Hmm...who to believe...I know my choice.

Gas would have to cost $100 per gallon before a tank would cost me $1000. I expect that the price will level out before that point.

Didn’t the German strategy in the Battle of the Bulge hinge on steeling gas and fighting over it? Been done.

"But we may soon be paying more than $1,000 for a tank of gas."

- unless we all vote for Obama. (obligatory add-on to all liberal doomsday predictions)

I remember a professor I had in university in the late 70’s saying that within our lifetimes there would be a breaking point with regard to oil prices and the result would be the next world war. Think this next election is important?

Don’t some trucks take $1000 or more to fill?

the breaking point should cause us to find a way out of oil. Put aside $100 Billion just for it. In a 3 Trillion budget that is nothing.

Water will be the cause for the next wars, and Ted Turner will be worth $10 Billion again

Two tanks at 200 gallons each at $4.50 a gallon works out to $1800.

"John Donvan lost all perspective and replied, "But we may soon be paying more than $1,000 for a tank of gas."

Last I looked I didn't have a 250 gallon gas tank.

What is this guy smoking anyway?

These drive-by types who love to scream “DOOM! DOOM!” are the same people who shriek when anyone talks about drilling in Anwar, and caterwaul about oil company profits.

They’re worthless.

On the bright side, that should get the riffraff off the roads.

The WORLD will rue the day our economy gets to the point where we can no longer feed, clothe and protect those who cannot around the globe. The Russians, muslims, Asians, Europeans will NOT pick up the slack....

Speaking to a car security expert who claimed that such theft would be a misdemeanor because the total cost would be below $1000

Where is theft under $1,000 a misdemeanor?

I believe the ceiling is lower than that in most places.

"Didn’t the German strategy in the Battle of the Bulge hinge on steeling gas and fighting over it?"

Yup. If I recall correctly, they didn't 'reach' the gas.
