I thought everyone knew. Ever heard of dampaign finance reform? If you had you might notice the conflict with political free speach, which is exactly what the first amendment was written to protect.

Trird party success or votes is an indicator that the annointed parties are off track . I think that this time they are so far off track that barr can win, not just be the beginning to signal a change in pmajor party behavior.

Hi Triple: Look Barr could not even win back his Ga. seat today. He has flirted with the ACLU. He has populist, with Libertarian foundations that do not , do not look like the conservatism of Ronaldus or others we like. But, unlike Nader, he will hurt the GOP even in down ticket races. A few votes here in there in varied districts could ruin the GOP.

Hi PF:

Just one question-— How is the GOP entitled to the votes that Bob Barr gets in an election?
(I thought votes had to be earned through policies and practices.)

They do but the ones who are so frustrated, may just vote Libertarian out of that plus their fear that the GOP wussies won’t change before Nov. so , let’s penalize them. It never works. Pols always work slowly even when disaster hits. It will take at least two years of McCain or the Messiah to finally wake up these dolts so that they form a new reform platform where they finally differ not agree with the liberal Dems. Mike Pence , Cantor in the House and others like Kyl , Coburn and DeMint in the Senate will probably be the reformers.

PF - I cannot make out the connection between my question in 44 and your reply.

Are you saying we should vote for (R) candidates because the will wake up to reality and change rhetoric, policies, and practices in a couple of years or so?

Please clarify.
