The time to have really challenged this was back in South Carolina. That was a really BOGUS primary result.
It needs to be closely scrutinized....because absent that victory he would have ultimately gone down in flames...with only a lonely victory in oddball New Hampshire.
Every single caucus state that he ran in when it still mattered handed him his rear-end.
Yet the PRIMARY states....something weird was going on. It almost smelled....fraudulent.
Sort of like Hugo Chavez winning in Venezuela....

...since Pres. Ford was an unelected incumbent, there was no stigma of disloyalty held against him.Actually, the RINOs and CFR crowd did try and play the disloyalty card. It just didn't fly.

I agree, and don’t think that the suspicion of fraud of some kind hasn’t crossed my mind too.
