Sen. McCain ... please explain your stance on “The New GI Bill.”
In the primaries he was able to hide his intellectual deficit in an 8 man field.
His sheer stupidity is now center stage for all to see. By July he is toast.
Save the Planet Eat More Manatee.
Actually this has been my issue with McCain all along. He is stupid.
Another example Campaign Finance Reform. I seriously think he thought it would get money out of politics. Damn I love the United States Navy. But why are former Midshipman the worst people one could pick for President. What is it?
Take notice that 1) McCain is giving away - not auction - the emissions permits and 2) McCain sets a more reasonable bar than the Democrats 60% versus 80%. I think there is something to be said for taking this issue away from the Democrats’ ability to demagogue it.
Gawd what a pile of turds.... Hillary/Obamalamadingdong/McCain...... three turds in a stack.
We’ve been following the policies advocated by the environmentalists for the last 35 years. We passed the EPA, the Clean Air Act, and the Clean Water Act that many years ago. They are still whining and crying that the sky is falling. Does that mean their policies don’t work, or are they merely being disingenuous?
This is another situation where, no matter how much the U.S. does, it can never be enough. Because the people who make their living off environmentalism don’t want the problem to ever be solved.

Can’t ya just see ‘em salivating already?
That’s the answer by cracky!! We will just let our genius’ in congress legislate away global warming. All we need to do is write a bunch of laws and global warming will be fixed./s
My brother-in-law told me years ago that congress invented problems to fix, then legislated fixes to the problems it invented which in turn created real problems that they couldn’t fix. I was still idealistic at the time and thought he was nuts...I owe him a big apology.
That’s obnoxious. This is for you: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1994443/posts
Yep. After all, driving off a 200 ft. cliff at 90MPH is so much better than doing it at 120MPH.
I think there is something to be said for taking this issue away from the Democrats ability to demagogue it.

It won’t matter, any way ya cut it or how reasonable you seek to pose it as being, we lose.
Neither party should have the say on such ‘an issue that is such a non-issue’ yet as it is being pursued by a bunch of elitist snobs , the outcome can only portain disaster for economies.
Imagine what else he’ll fall for if he’ll fall for a hoax like global warming being caused by man.
Sorry to see you and so many others here still not getting it. Keep tossing the sugar coating on it all ya want, it’s still hooey in the end.
If this were The Gong Show we could simply ring the gong and get a new candidate.
I have no problem with setting reasonable goals to reduce emissions, especially when it is over a period of 40+ years. Afterall conservation is a root of conservatism.
Fine. Perhaps we should try the stick our finger in the ears approach and try telling 70% of Americans they are wrong. I have no problem with setting reasonable emission decreases especially if it is done over 40+ years - if that’s what it takes to take the issue off the table. Losing to Obama is not an option.
We’re not driving off the cliff with McCain. At least I’m not. You get to define your own cliff - but my limits aren’t are more broad. I disagree with him on several issues including global warming - but I do agree that the GOP and conservatives need to improve their image as conservationists and I don’t have a problem doing that.
Aren’t that broad.
