And I forgot to add some balloons from me that scared the crap out of him when he first came out of surgery.
LOL~
HA! He’s a year younger than my mother! LOL
Not to mention the fact there is a guy in a t-shirt standing under his hospital window yelling “ESCHOIR IS EVERYWHERE”. Navy Vet is trying to lure him away with a pizza.
Ash and Don Morgan, lol, you’re going way back.
Great that you saw Jim and gave big hugs! I hope they can keep him there long enough to guide him on how to deal with this new challenge.
I personally hate being in the hospital so I have sympathy for wanting to get out.
Prayers for healing....and patience.
What ARE you? Some kinda kid or something? :)
Hey, does your mom do the blue hair thing too?
Flowers from Melanie and Ann? Wow. He’s in great company!
So was I............ sigh............ ;o)
Thank you, dear Amy for doing all you are doing. Glad to hear Jim is doing as well as he is. He should stay there because it is so hard for the ones at home to do what needs to be done. I hope he doesn’t try to hurry up too much. It would be good if he could stay 4 or 5 more days if the hospital will let him.
Sometimes the patient doesn’t know what he will be going through at home. But he will do what he thinks is best, I hope.
Thanks again Amy and please take care of yourself!! Remember the world will keep on turning if you slow down a little~~~;o)
And I wouldn’t go back, for the world....
However. It could all stop adding up at this point and I’d be HAPPY! :)
I am glad to hear he is doing well.
Hey, does your mom do the blue hair thing too?
Careful pickin on the younguns again grammie, the mods might have found their coin by now...
More great news...I will post this at Gopachy for the folks there...thanks so much.
Thank you for all the updates, Amy.
I give praise and thanks to the Lord Almighty for all He has done and continues to do for our Jim. There’s still a lot ahead for Jim...lots of rehab and learning to do some things in new ways.
But the Lord who brought Jim through the surgery will see him through the recuperation period, too.
Our God is a Mighty God. He is the same yesterday, today, and always.
He loves his children with an everlasting love.
Thank you, Lord, for watching over our brother, leader, and founder, Jim Robinson.
We praise your Holy Name and give thanks unending!
Thank you for this very tender and sweet post! I think a lot of us are tearing up tonight! We had to be strong last night for Jim!
We’ll keep our prayers going forward to help him through some difficult days ahead! God Bless Jim! I have so many wonderful friends because Jim Robinson had Free Republic. I mean that from the bottom of my heart!
Thanks. I know most of the posters there wish Jim well.
I hear ya!
Insurance companies want patients out as soon as possible, too soon in many cases. Jim will need some type of physical therapy and rehab. 2-3 days after leg amputation is much too soon.
Prayers for Jim. And all the best.
