“It is time to send the vast majority of IRS employees and tax consultants into a productive line of work.”
You got my attention.
As I suggested - a packing of the CP by patriotic/vehement/passionate Conservatives would be more productive effort since CP has alredy done the ditchwork and has some name recognition than some other group having to start out 1000 miles from nowhere.
Unfortunately, the Constitution Party is nothing more than Libertarian Light. I've already checked them out, and they all fawn over Ron Paul and subscribe to his unique brand of madness.
PING
I had a Kabar years ago until it was stolen out of my pack in a bus stop in Dallas.
Carried that knife everywhere.
Today I make due with a Benchmade Balisong.
But, forming a party now is getting the cart before the horse. The successful party, if that were to happen, will arise as an emergent phenomenon when sufficient people amalgamate in their thoughts...or, in other words, do a think tank, an institute, or whatever, that builds via media expertise and product. You don't need a leader, in the lofty sense of the word, you need a few managers and lots of talent: writers, speakers, graphics artists, computer wizards, and manageable goals (not, remaking the entire government) like winning candidates in local elections, regardless of party or having a few books published and well-received.
Then you can talk party.
Looks cool
“Its high time to hoist the Jolly Roger and start cutting throats....”
There’s no way the totally unorganized militia can take on the federal government. Then again, the gun-toting armed federal goons would see half their number lost in a running gun battle because they’re so stupid they’d get lost , and the other half are so fat they’d die from strokes and heart attacks.
Maybe an all out revolution would be an equal fight.
You just know the "J" is for Jefferson. I guess Washington couldn't be worked in ... Alexander J. W. Madison just sounds a little too Bushy.
Done. I feel better already.
Today it really hit me that our conservative voice is being silenced. I was going to search for a way to make it heard again. Maybe this is it.
Thanks for the post, pissant. I like what I see so far.
2. Cut spending
3. Ignore the tree-huggers
4. Secure the borders
5. Kill the terrorists
6. Smack the hippies
I am with you on at least 5 of 6.
Not sure I understand #6, I might be with you on 6 of 6.
I said metaphorically speaking.
I in no way advocate violent overthrow of the scum and thugs running roughshod over our constitution and treating us like property.
That would be wrong.
Yeah, that’s a good point.
I enjoy writers of metaphors and euphemisms. Thomas Jefferson and Sam Adams are two of my favorites.
Carry on, sir.
Regardless of one comment to the contrary, any such endeavor as this requires a leader and an organization. Who and what?
Why should we believe that this is not another Liberitarian, Conservative Party that is all talk and no results?
Yes, the mission statement is inspiring, but it takes a lot more than that to accomplish anything.
Shish !! Can’t anyone get what I’m suggesting.
TAKE OVER THE thing - it is of no matter that they are not conservative enough NOW.
With some good and diligent poliSci work we can have them going in the right direction quicktime.
I would not charge them as Libertarian-lite since they do have Chuck Bauldin as their POTUS candidate whom is no Libertarian, but...
As I have said, they have done the ditchwork (in all 50 states) so now is the time to go in and get the foundation work done.
What is so difficult to understand about that ??
Good to hear from AJM again. Have really missed his well thought out common sense approach to things.
Onward!
count me in. just signed up.
