No matter what position a person is in, no matter what his or her history ... there's always a chance to change. To vote for life!

Even if it is a purchased vote. Hooray for the executioner!

“PS. And I am not a hero and no where near her league. I was hardly in danger with 11 other SF team members armed to the teeth and the entire US airforce at my call. Plus I had alot of fun.”

Now don't you think we don't appreciate it, even though you hogged all the fun for yourselves...

I’m sorry but you are sadly mistaken, many never get the chance to repeat their feats of heroism either through their own deaths or the simple fact that the opportunity never again presents itself. Heroism comes from inside, often times it surprises those who are deemed the hero, it is Gods gift to mankind that we would sacrifice for one another even though we may never have met.

Joe,

I am never wrong...at least not when expressing my opinion....which, had you read my post carefully enough, you would have realized I was doing.

I don't know what the percentage of "heroes" who die in the act is; nor do you. "Many" is hardly quantitative. Further, it is largely beside the point.

As to being "God's gift to mankind"; that I can do without. It is a mean god indeed who requires human sacrifice and condones it within his "creations".

Further, there are many athiests, Buddhists, and not a few Muslims who would disagree (a few, violently) with your point of view.

Me? I certainly accept your statement as an opinion; one with which, by the way, I most assuredly disagree.
