My daughter’s eco-Nazi indoctrination started in Kindergarten. Everything from paper cutting to nap time was about saving the rainforest. In the school play, all the little kids were dressed as trees and plants and endangered critters while someone’s older brother chased them around with a cardboard chain saw. This was until Captain Planet (this time someone’s older sister) saved the day by confiscating the cardboard chain saw and stomping on it, while the little kids sang a nauseating hymn of praise to mother earth to the tune of “Onward, Christian Soldiers”. I kid you not! Al Gore would have been cr**ming all over himself!

I just read "A Childish Letter". It looks like Sowell wrote this in 1998 but it sounds as though he is writing about the current crop of Obamamaniacs. Loved this Line:

"They will be sitting ducks for the demagogues of their times."

Yes they are sitting ducks. Change, Hope, repeat.Change,hope, repeat.............
