Intelligent Design cannot be taught in schools but the myth of man made global warming can and is presented as established fact.

But my Stepmother couldn’t understand that “greenhouse gasses” and SUVs on earth don’t have too much of an effect on the climate of Mars. Many people are scared and feeling helpless. They teach or let their children be taught the same fears and attitudes that they feel those feelings don't depend on logic, they just depend on emotions, and to many, the greater the emotional distress, the more those feelings must be true and they don't let facts get in the way of that distress.

In the absence of any real leadership those in distress (real or imagined) will cling to any voice that is loud enough or agrees with their emotional state.

Weapons of Mass Destruction did exist. Even Jeremiah Wright acknowledges that Saddam had them and used them (he claims we gave them to him).

The question is were they destroyed or buried or shipped to another country (like Syria in Russian trucks).

The teacher in charge of this class needs to be fired immediately. He/She is pushing their personal political agenda at a publicly funded institution. That is an utter no no. If this had been a Right of Center teacher having their students write to say Bookings about the Iraq War, they would all ready be fired.
