The trigger was pulled in Basra,, the finale may well be in Sadr City. Get it done, Maliki!
Level it.
a major operation in sadr city is long overdue. the rat nest there should have been cleaned out months ago.
GET SOME!!!
Call me when the city is changed, for obvious reasons, to Sadrless City.
Nope. Wall it off and flood it. It will be cool and Biblical at the same time!

This will likely take weeks to complete. Once the battle starts, expect to read and hear plenty of media reports emphasizing civilian deaths, setbacks in the battle, defections in the Iraqi Army, and statements of defiance from Sadr. What we wont hear is progress by Maliki and the US in finishing off Sadrs forces until it suddenly becomes impossible to ignore it and then we will hear about how inept the Iraqi forces were in achieving victory.
Call it the Basra Narrative. Just because it failed in Basra doesnt mean the defeatist media wont use it again, and again, and again.

CNN is already starting:
Isn’t this the last gang in Iraq that bugs the government?
Everyone else is kind of deadish right?
Maybe they want to jack Sadr up incase the dems get the win in Nov.
Lets get it..
It's gonna take a few years to really get all the blood letting criminals rounded up.
A job that needs doing.
Don't stop until Al Sadr City has been processed. It's the _only_ way to a real government.
