99.9% of politicians are whores. Never got why that was so hard to understand. Oh wait, (R) versus (D). Got it.

He’s my Congressman. What a let-down. He’s up for re-election. The local DemonRats are salivating. They have the long-knives out, waiting for the kill. That was a damn fool thing for him to do. He’s done a good job in Congress. I hope he survives this mess.

Only took the second sentence to say he is a Republican. Usually the MSM uses the headlines or leads with the Republican affiliation.

Darn it. Fossella is a moderate to conservative Republican, and one of the few decent ones in NY. He is the only Republican Representation for any Gothamite.
I volunteered for his first campaign and hate to see his seat seriously challenged, but he did this to himself. He may not have pulled a John Sweeney, but this will hurt.

Yep. Jeanine Pirro. KT McFarland. John Spencer. Cannot think of any NY R without embarrassment. Of course that goes for the Dems too but they have the numbers to withstand scandals.
To: buck jarret
Spencer wasn’t that bad compared to the other two, party hack McFarland and Rudyite RINO Pirro.

Not even Yonkers had any love for Spencer. But he wasn’t a complete bad joke like McFarland, a C-list Park Avenue housewife with a soap opera villain past, or Pirro, who actually had as much baggage as the Clintons without any of the evil competence.
To: darkangel82
There is also the fact that Pataki retired while still in office.
To: buck jarret
Pataki was no prize either but he’s the best you’ll get in NY, besides this one congressman.

probably minus this one congressman

Ditto.
The special election baths in La. and for Denny Hastert's seat.
Looks like the Republicans in the House can go back to caucusing in a telephone booth.

...failed a sobriety test by reciting the alphabet wrong, swaying while standing on one leg and stumbling while trying to walk a straight line. He needs to take lessons from this guy.
