No disrespect for all in that profession but if one looks at their historical track record from Robespierre and Lenin to William Kunstler and the multitude of ambulance-chasing, shyster trial lawyers to Clinton and Obama, one quickly and clearly realizes that passing a bar exam and intelligent leadership in a society can be two different things.

Good point! And he’ll probably be the best amigo that Calderon of Mexico has, subordinate the State Dept. to the U.N., work hard to make affirmative action the 28th Amendment, and make Michelle ambassador to Iran.

Exactly. As the old epigram says, “if you sleep with dogs you get fleas.” I think that Obama not only has virtually no experience but what little he does have is all bad. His whole political ethos has been corrupt Chicago politics. His scandaloius associates are part of who he IS. On top of that, he’s a socialist whose goal is not to create wealth but to redistribute it by taxing us out of existence for the thousand social welfare programs he’s got on his agenda.

Great picture! It’s the one that was on the cover of National Review magazine recently. I thought the message on the bottom of the cover should have said, “First Bitch?”

Right - as I said to another FReeper, his very limited experience is not only all bad but laden with scandals. And he’s a socialist whose goal is not to create wealth but to redistribute it by taxing us to death - in order to implement the thousand social welfare programs that are part of his agenda.

Absolutely. The irony is that America WILL be damned if he’s ever elected!

His breathtakingly inept response in the ABC-moderated debate to the question about capital gains was a case in point.

The purpose of the tax was not to increase revenues for the state and to help the needy (the usual liberal line). He couldn't go there because the liberal moderator had pointed out that increasing the tax lowered revenue.

He went straight to the Marxist rationale. The purpose was to promote "fairness" by levelling society (even if it meant impoverishing everyone).

Exactly! It's good to see I'm not the only one that was so SHOCKED to hear that exchange during the last Democrat debate. Not so much that I didn't think he really thought that way to begin with -- I did -- but to hear him so openly admit it, was very surprising.

That's one of the examples I use, along with Liberation Theology, to explain why I think Obama is a Marxist.

Obama thinks the taxation system is nothing more than a means for the redistribution of wealth. Whether taxes are too onerous our not is not, or whether they hurt or help the overall economy, isn't important to a true Marxist.

Another thing I like to point out is the fact that both his biological parents, including the father who abandoned him and of whom he cherished such fond "dreams," were Marxists. That had to be an influence on him.

What do you think will happen? Rush seems to think that Obama has been mortally wounded by his association with the Reverend Wright and is now unelectable.

For my part I am almost hoping that Hillary pulls a rabbit out of a hat and secures the nomination because, dangerous as she is, I think Obama is much worse (that's saying a lot). I am afraid that the anti-Bush fervor is such that whoever gets the Democrat nomination will win in November.
