and decide to make Mexico an American protectorate or colony.

Now you're talking. Dump their elitist oligarchy and replace it with real reforms offering individual rights unbeknownst to them. It's about the only (lasting) alternative to the Chavestation taking place among the peasants down south.

It's hard to believe that our system hasn't gotten many takers over the years, when the going gets rough under tyranny and corruption. Our founders were good, but really fall short on the 'sale'.

Too few are willing to unleash the power of the individual maximizing his potential in markets protecting free choice (liberty) and go kneejerk toward socialism instead. I won't bother mentioning our two Chavestistas running for president. All I'll say is that if either of these two gets elected, my six-day work-week will come to an end and I'll be in line for free government cheese. Cheese is good.

And the Apaches, of Athabaskan stock, migrated from the north into the Southwest, and, depending on their mood of the day, either massacred the more timid and peaceful agrarian tribes that were already there, or intermarried with them: They did both over the years.
