Some more background info on her:
She is a faithful Mormon and she was the ONLY one in the Miss America pageant to wear a one-piece for the “swimsuit competition”. Some think that is the reason she lost, but she doesn’t regret it.
Keep that, and her military service, in mind the next time someone tries to tell you what Mormons are like.
