Mexico is a bit better since the PRI has been out of power, but corruption is still rife and Mexicans still have an attraction to a caudillo (strong man) leader. That’s why having too many at one time is dangerous. The oversaturation of Mexicans or any other less than first world group prevents them from not only learning the language and general culture—but also the political/civic culture of the USA. Those who are attracted to a caudillo style government make it easier for fascists/socialists to take power.

Ah, proving my point. I’m Hispanic, don’t own a capitalist business (but I do work for one), and somehow I still vote conservative. Just because my hair and eyes are a little darker doesn’t mean I somehow stop being concerned about high taxes or Islamic terrorism or anti-gun buffoons - or the problems caused by illegal immigrants.

The Caucasian “Hispanics” who fled Castro bear no resemblance whatsoever [either genetically or culturally] to the Mestizo/Aboriginal “Hispanics” of Mexico [and Guatemala, etc] who are flooding our southern border by the tens of millions.

If fences don’t keep the “unwanted” out why is there one around the White House? Hmmmmmm?

I happen to be a female hispanic Republican who came to this country legally...and fully support the wall and other measures that will re-inforce the laws we have now. The one thing we need is to put more money into INS to expedite the process...INS (like every other government funded organization) is underfunded and understaffed causing a tremendous backlog. I just did a piece last week on my blog Rightupfront.org entitled “Diary of a Mad Brown Woman” explaining the need for the fence and discussing immigration in general.

In most years 40% of the “illegals” entered the country legally and either overstayed a shopping visit, visa and so forth.

I just heard this clip on FNC. He clearly intends to install amnesty (he calls it “guest worker” but we know it’s amnesty) and he says after borders are secure, but I really don’t trust him).

Clearly, since I just cannot in good conscience sit back and allow Hillary or Obama to just march into the White House, I will vote for him.

It seems the only alternative we have is to work darn hard to get Conservatives in the House and Senate. If we could pull some upsets in these races and show them that illegal immigration made the difference perhaps we can hold their feet to the fire in Congress to stop any crazy proposals McCain makes. Perhaps we can get enough in there to at least stall it for 2 years until we have a chance to get some more Conservatives in.

That sounds uncomfortably like how the Nazis justified their alliance with Japan, by calling them "Yellow Aryans."

Whatever.

Look, if you're 60 years old or younger, then you will live to see the collapse of the USA, and if, in the ensuing chaos, you and I discover that we're sharing the same foxhole, then you can apologize for calling me a Nazi back in 2008.

But, in the meantime, I'll try not to hold it against you.

If conservatives had been more reliable in 2006, maybe he would. Now, Republicans will simply ignore conservatives and court Hispanics and moderates.

He didn’t call you a Nazi, he pointed out a similarity between your way of thinking and the Nazis’ way of thinking.

Anyway, your comments are pretty disturbing. My own mother was one of those mestizos you refer to as undesirable. She was born in Mexico, immigrated to the United States legally, and became a patriotic U.S. citizen. And she’s more conservative than my McCain-supporting white father.

Your “darkie minorities are all liberals” BS seems like something out of either Stormfront or the DNC.

What in particular is "disturbing" about my comments?

Your “Caucasians good, Mestizos/Aboriginals bad” comment in post 24.

I never said one was "bad" or one was "good" - I said that they "bear no resemblance" to one another ["either genetically or culturally"].

Who really cares?

They are criminals.

They commit a misdeameanor when they cross the border and felonies when they acquire a fake ID, and for every instance of using that fake ID to secure employment or health services.

That is what matters, not somebody’s description of their ancestry.

Oh, trust me, SoConPubbie, unless you're about 85 or 90 years old, then you WILL live to regret the fact that there was once a period in your life when you didn't care [or at least pretended not to care] about their ancestry.

But it's all a moot point, anyway - the great, epochal demographic gears of disaster have been set in motion, and it's only a matter of time now before the USA falls apart at the seams.

So get yourself some popcorn, and plenty of ammunition, and sit back and enjoy the chaos as it unfolds.

No, I don't care, nor will I ever.

All I care about is that people who come to this country come legally and assimilate to the Judeo-Christian ethic that this great country was founded on.

The content of their DNA is irrelevant.

They'd better come believing that America is the greatest country on God's green earth and they had better be proud to call themselves Americans without any hyphenated garbage or they can get the Hell out!
