The Iraqi government said Sunday that it has "concrete evidence" Iran is fomenting violence in Iraq and that a high-level panel had been formed to document the proof.I'm shocked--shocked! Next you'll be telling me that Islam is not the religion of peace.

Okay, how many more breathless reports do we need suggesting someone got a Scoop! that Iran is now providing weapons and technology to kill Americans. We know! We have had proof for years. The more pertinent question is what are we going to do about it? Will we do anything about it? Does anybody care, or are we all cowed by Nancy Pelosi and Hoawrd Dean and the other screaming anti-American leftists?

The statement came as Iraqi officials find themselves trapped between the United States and IranTypical Washington Compost statement.

"High level panel."
Kick it into next week.

There are two "scoops" here, both of which are important.
First, the report comes from the Washington Post, which means that Iran's activities have gone "mainstream." That's a huge gain.
Second, and far more importantly, Iraq is saying it publicly. There are several important aspects to that, chief among which is that it very clearly paves the way for us (and Iraq!) to "do something about it."
Your impatience is understandable, but misguided. Sometimes it takes time for the conditions to be right.

If you have “concrete evidence” Iran is fomenting violence in Iraq,Why do you need a “high-level panel” , “ to document the proof”.

Hey George: Question do you need a overage veteran to explain to you its time to either loan 2 each B-2s to Israel or do to Tehran what we did to Hiroshima and Nagasaki. But first send in 2 leaflet bombs warning the fools in public who they are messing with then drop about 400 incendiary bombs on there known nuclear reactors. Isreal did it and it shut down the stupid Syrians its our turn to step up to the front of the line. To hell with the State Dept its time we did a little gun boat violence. How about sending 5 F117s over Baghdad and drop leaflets to the people of Iran so they know what there idiot leaders are doing!

I am inclined to agree with you. I read an op-ed piece in the Wall Street Journal entitled, "Iran Must Finally Pay a Price".
See it here.Over the past couple of weeks I have noticed a gathering of information and sources setting up, or making a public case for, possible action.

Good points. I also firmly believe that if the conditions are right President Bush will not let Iran off the hook. All these years later people still don’t accept who they are dealing with in him.

MORE concrete evidence. There has been hard evidence for months. And everyone has known for over four years.
They've got about two months to get this fixed. ;-)

All these years later people still dont accept who they are dealing with in him. I'm afraid that may be as true of his fans as his critics. His instincts may be good but he screws up the execution.
