Everything appears to be coming together for action as various intel, military and political delegations meet.

Iran supports disarming of militias in Iraq-report

"We support the Iraqi government's efforts to disarm militiamen but we also advise (it) to avoid confronting people," ISNA news agency quoted an unnamed official as saying.

FARS, I seldom respond to your posts and pings. But, I always appreciate getting them and reading them. They are, without fail, insightful. Thank you so much for your diligence in reporting.
The “pucker” factor ever increases.

As Cindy of Threat Matrix replied when I complimented her on the hard work she puts into her thread: “unsolicited appreciation always makes me smile”, so say I to you for your pleasant comment.
Thanks. What goes around DOES come around! :-))

We better get rid of the current group of politicians who do nothing but weaken our country and encourage our enemies. The dangers that lie ahead are too important to leave in the hands of corrupt fools. We will be in serious trouble if we have to rely on the same people who pandered to our enemies while these threats worsened. It’s time to rid ourselves of the lowest scum on the earth and replace them with real Americans who will put an end to this nightmare.

Writing on the Wall increasingly legible
It's ALWAYS been legible, except to the ostriches and other vision-self-impaired morons looking the other way while babbling about Iran 'changing from the inside', 'popular uprisings' and all of that idealistic claptrap.
The fact is, Iran has been in the grips of mullah-controlled fascism since the Assahollah Khomeini seized power thanks to Jimmy Carter and that pack of treasonous weasels that were running the show from '77 to '81. And while there may indeed be some Iranians here and there who think kindly of the United States, they are far too few in number, basically unarmed and without any way to fight beyond lobbing bricks and bottles, and the thugs who answer to the mullahs and Ahmedinerunt will beat the Hell out of anyone who looks cross-eyed at them.
The time to have taken action against the Iranians was long before they had centrifuges running around the clock, enriching uranium for the purpose of weaponry.
Now when we end up taking on the SOBs, they will have had that much more time to prepare themselves, and that time we wasted will equate into higher casualties, greater losses, and a longer military campaign than necessary.
If we've always had that reserve capacity that our military leaders have assured us that we have, what in Hell have we been waiting for?

I’ve thanked Cindy so often that she is probably tired of hearing from me..........but, just in case, A huge “thanks” to Cindy for all she does. I especially appreciate her travel advisories...........cuz’ we are always on a plane heading for somewhere on her advisory lists. Because of her suggestion, we always contact the local U.S. embassy upon our arrival.
Thanks again, Cindy and FARS.

And if we don’t take care of business this year the next admin will let it fester until we lose a couple of cities here in the USA before we do the necessary deed. Then it will be very expensive. We will have converted a border war into a civilizational war.

I don’t see any conflagration coming anytime soon. Dictators have a remarkable ability to adapt. They will eventually collapse. But it took 75 years for the Soviet Union to collapse.
To: Ernest_at_the_Beach
Words are cheap. How scared are the ruling Mullah that it is in their best interest to pull their special forces groups out of Iraq and no longer allow for across the border transfer of weapons and explosive devices. Perhaps we shall get an answer in the next few weeks.
Their damn fools if they think the US under GWB will be over influenced by possible Russian or Chinese military forces to come into Iran to somehow defend them.
GWB will simply inform the Kremlin and Beijing that they send their troops in harms way. Our cruise missiles and smart bombs cannot distinguish between their troops and Iranian troops.
Iran is becoming more desperate. They have some smart people that have been around for a long time. And they watch closely how many Arab states got totally screwed every time by depending on Russian military technology etc..

Well .. I hope Iran is worried about an attack and I hope to hell a US/IDF attack is imminent! It’s time to take the gloves off with these Iranian idiots.
They Arabs have the most respect for strength .. not appeasement.
