Could somebody help me out here please. Are they just sending the same old same old through the washer again hoping to get a different response from iran?

The UN recycles it’s greatest hits more than K-Tel ever did.

This is a fool’s errand, performed by the foolish and impotent U.N.
Meanwhile the countdown to an Iranian nuclear weapon continues to tick.

Ain’t that the truth. I’m at a loss as to why they would think it would work this time around when it didn’t work the last time.

The Security Council has since imposed three, six, eight, ten, twenty sets of sanctions as a result. Some times you just have to wonder, who is the UN more afraid of , Iran or their own responsibility.

The UN. Now with 20% more appeasement!

It is a fools errand. I would say it isn't logical but that would be redundant when speaking of the un.
Maybe it's just a stalling tactic until iran has the bomb.

Some times you just have to wonder, who is the UN more afraid of , Iran or their own responsibility.Look at the make-up of the un and you'll have your answer. They are very pro despot and dictatorial regimes. It's where their power comes from.

The Neville Chamberlain school of diplomacy lives still in the UN.
After all, when the feces hits the wind generator, they know the US will always be around to pull their ‘chest’nuts out of the fire.

I think UNsanity is a more appropriate term.

I’d say it was much higher than a mere 20%.

The Neville Chamberlain school of diplomacy lives still in the UN.I think it's more sinister than that.

That will never happen.

That they have the power to take apart our country piece by piece is mind boggling. From tobacco to influencing our news. If the majority of Americans really knew how deeply entrenched the un is to what’s going on in our country today, there would be a march on the un headquarters with torches and arms. But, alas, they are using the slow boil technique.

It will be just like Iraq...UN officials will arrive, get led around by the nose, return to the Security Council and claim that Iran has no nukes. Meanwhile Iran will be slipping them out the back door to traitorous Russia until things cool down.
Why is it that we continue to reward and subsidize incompetence?

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad turned down that offer, saying it had strings attached. Yes, it does. So?

Whether people like it or not I believe that will happen because the world is so weak in preventing them from acquiring. The world has no concept of being proactive with them.

This is yet another delaying tactic for the un. The way they handled saddam would be an excellent example. Resolution after resolution and he ignored them. iran following down the same path.
