Mr. Vice President, with all due respect, the Democrats are NOT your friends, our friends, or friends of America!

Courtesy comment:

You hit the nail squarely on the head with your observation.

The Democrats are not friends even unto themselves and especially America and those who dissent with their goof ball views of life.

Who got to meet the vice president? About 400 people attended the Oklahoma Republican Party's banquet in downtown Tulsa. Before the dinner, which cost $100 a person, Cheney met with smaller groups who paid a higher sum to get closer contact with the vice president. snip About 25 paid $10,000 apiece to attend a roundtable talk with Cheney. snip Between 35 to 40 paid $1,000 each to have their picture taken with him.

Who got to meet Hillary in "name the town/state" at a $1,000 a person?! Who got to LISTEN to the brain dead, philanderer, liar, former President at half a million dollars?! This is relevant to everyone but this 'reporter' how?

I wonder why the VP did not mention that John McCain voted against drilling in ANWR?

Comment:

As posted before I have visited ANWAR and it is one desolate place not worthy of keeping America from being energy independent.

The VP is only saying what should have been said seven and one half years ago.

Absolutely, and it should have been repeated over and over again until every stupid RAT voter in this country got the message. Don't like the price of gas? Thank a RAT. They think we can conserve our way out of this mess and what we need is increased supply. RATS are nuts.

Democrats blocked drilling by filibustering it in the Senate. The GOP tried.

That should have been all over the news like bees on honey.

As posted before I have visited ANWAR {sic} and it is one desolate place not worthy of keeping America from being energy independent.

Even at full production, ANWR is not capable of keeping America energy independent.

One field of corn won't feed the country.

Should we not plant it?

There is no reason for us not to drill in ANWR but it is only part of a much larger solution.

Of course. But it won't get solved until we start somewhere.

1. Alternative energy is only part of the solution.

2. Conservation is only part of the solution.

3. Drilling for oil and high-tech recovery systems are also another --and necessary -- part of the solution.

We could probably balance the budget while conducting the WOT.

AND...a hefty tax cut for all. ;o)

first 000 = Hundred second 000 = thousand third 000 = Million next 0 = Billion
5,000,000,000 = Five Billion

Unless you are from the EU then who knows.

Very good. So you agree that 5,000,000,000 billion (which is what you wrote) = 5 billion billion = 5,000,000,000,000,000,000. Or are you from the EU?
