I don't trust Obamassiah any further than I could throw him. He may not be Muslim now after 20 years in Reverend Wright's black liberation theology church, but if his record at the Indonesian Islamic school is correct he is a liar when he claims he was never a Muslim.

I could have told you that he is a liar before he ever opened his mouth in public, but then so are Hillary and McCain. No one can be a major player on the political game board nowadays without lying about a lot of things. They just call it something else for the benefit of us hicks in the sticks who happen to believe that a bold faced liar is one of the most disreputable forms of human life.

See, Muslims do revere Jesus as a holy man and prophet. Just not Son of God.

So, saying one is Christian is not incompatible with being a Muslim, al Taqiyyah aside.

After all, the only things you need to do to be a good Sunni Muslim are:

o Shahadah (profess that Allah is the only God and Mohammed is his prophet),

o Salah (perform prayers),

o Zakah (alms for the poor),

o Sawm (observe ritual fasts),

o Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca)

Now, we do not know if Barack has been to Mecca. His passport records might be of interest for that reason. We do know he spent time in Pakistan. As to Zakah, Sawn and Salah, he could easily keep those private. Which leaves Shahadah. He is NOT an apostate until he says “I do not believe that Mohammed was the prophet of God.” Better, he should add, “I do not believe that Allah is God.” But he has done no such thing. The burden of proof is on Obama to demonstrate more conclusively that he is no longer a Muslim. Given that Pipes does a nice job spotlighting Obama’s lie that he was “never” a Muslim, the notion that he’s some sort of sleeper will persist.

But I think Obama, the exposed “messiah,” is going to break records for the most lies in the shortest time. He’s got no real experience and a short history but the scandals are rapidly unfolding. It’s not just Wright but his close relationship with Ayers the terrorist. And I was just reading in National Review about all his shady dealings with corrupt Chicago politicians such as Rezko the swindler, who is now on trial and was a bagman for Obama’s campaigns - and pulled a very slick, and probably criminal, real estate caper to help Obama get the property for his house.

Just a random thought. Since 9/11 there have been a multitude of books on Islam and Mohammed. But one of the first and best accounts I’ve read is in the last volume of Edward Gibbon’s “Decline and Fall...” In his own sardonic and inimitable style Gibbon really tells the story in an unforgettable way. If you havn’t read it, I recommend that you read that section at your leisure.
