Mao refused to bathe. Ever. He cleansed his private parts by inserting them in virgins, which were brought to him each day. He would fall asleep around sunrise and awaken around 4PM each day. He was constantly injected with amphetamines during awake hours and opiates to sleep.

A PBS documentary on Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, and Hitler is my source.

"This dust sometimes makes its way as far as Taiwan. "

Ha!! Are you kidding. On any given day, 25% of the pollutants in the air of the LA basin are from China.

One-quarter of LA's air pollution: made in China

Thanks for the ping, Pandy! It seems more and more impossible to find even one little positive aspect of the country of China.

Note: I do think that it’s kinda nice to see non-aggressive nationalism used to inspire positive feelings, though. When was the last time we had much of that in the US... especially when it wasn’t virtually required, like after 9-11?

If a smile and a handshake weren't voluntary and heartfelt I wouldn't have much use for them. I guess I'd rather live here in a nation full of curmudgeons and snarling ideologues than a country full of people coerced into giving plastic smiles in order to sell the nation like some massive Madison Avenue commercial. lol

Bio-terrorism? China weapons testing? Or just the incredibly poor record of public health and hygiene?

Undoubtedly all the work of the Dalai Lama.....
