Well, that's what makes horse races, I suppose.
I'm fairly omnivorous, probably your standards are higher than mine. Can you give me a couple of examples of writers that you consider have produced literature (or something that approached it)? Perhaps a Southern writer (I may admire Faulkner simply because he is fluent in my language)?
