Ok, I will get crucified here, but I do like Obama. I know there are other Republicans out there who do too. I saw an article that said the founder of Vanguard Mutual Fund changed from Repub.to Democrat so he could vote in the PA primary

I think it's safe to say that Obamas church is really just the Christian branch of the Nation of Islam.

Both are branches of the church of Karl Marx. It has little if anything to do with religion. Marxism and religion don't mix.

Louis Farrakhan, at the annual Saviours' Day celebration in Chicago, Feb. 25, 2008: "This young man is the hope of the entire world that America will change and be made better"..."If you look at Barack Obama's audiences and look at the effect of his words, those people are being transformed."
Source: http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=4337417

Louis Farrakhan, at the Millions More Movement rally in DC, Oct 15, 2005: "...what Mao Tse Tung did was, he went to the cultural community, and they [Farrakhan spreads his arms beneficently] accepted his idea."..."Mao Tse Tung ... had a billion people whose lives he had to transform."..."the idea of Mao Tse Tung became the idea of a billion people, and China became a world power on the base of the culture and the arts community. If we had a ministry of art and culture in every city we'd create this movement
[in the U.S.]."

Louis Farrakhan, Santiago de Cuba, February, 1998: "There is not a member of the black masses in the United States who is not proud of the example set by Cuba and its revolution, with Comandante Fidel at its head"

Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Obama's "spirtual advisor" and pastor of more than 20 years, honors "Honorable" Minister Louis Farrakhan with the "Jeremiah A. Wright Lifetime Achievement Trumpeteer Award" at the 2007 Trumpet Gala held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

Obama's Church: Gospel of Hate
Kathy Shaidle
FrontPageMag.com
Monday, April 07, 2008

In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obama’s pastor in a heated interview about his Church’s teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to "Black Liberation Theology"...

Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of "salvation" in the afterlife is superseded by "liberation" on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.

What is it you like about him? So far all I see is a cult of personality. The man doesn't seem to have a concrete idea in his head.

"SOOOOO????? Wright, supposedly, has a degree in Islamic Religion......is this such a surprise?"

If he does, then you would think Islam would be included in his hate sermons, because Islam tells us that blacks are evil, sub-humans beneath Arab muslims (who are above all muslims) with no rights, Allah gives no favor to them, they can not go to Muhammad heaven, and should be enslaved. Slavery is still a legal and practiced in Islamic countries.

You'd think Wright, with all his education would also know that the slave trade was one of Islams main business enterprises, It was Muslims captured slaves in Africa, or bought them from other Africans, (no harsh words about black slave traders in Africa from Wright either) shipped them back to Saudi land or where ever else they needed them, as well as selling them to European slave traders who then sold them to American slave brokers.

Much of the genocide going on today in African countries is done by Islamic fundamentalists "cleaning up" the heathens.

You'd think that sinse wright is so focused on slavery, he would be shouting loudest of all at Islam.
Wright doesn't care about any of that, however. He just hates white. In fact, in Wrights mind, Islam is a VICTIM of whitey and the USA, just like he is.

Ishaq:243 "I heard the Apostle say: 'Whoever wants to see Satan should look at Nabtal!' He was a black man with long flowing hair, inflamed eyes, and dark ruddy cheeks.... Allah sent down concerning him: 'To those who annoy the Prophet there is a painful doom."

Quran 9:61: "Gabriel came to Muhammad and said, 'If a black man comes to you his heart is more gross than a donkey's.'"

Ishaq:144 "A rock was put on a slave's chest. When Abu Bakr complained, they said, 'You are the one who corrupted him, so save him from his plight.' I will do so,' said Bakr. 'I have a black slave, tougher and stronger than Bilal, who is a heathen. I will exchange him. The transaction was carried out."

[Who knows why some of this crap is even in Islams "holy" books. You'd think it would embarrass them]

Tabari II:21 "Ham [Africans] begat all those who are black and curly-haired, while Japheth [Turks] begat all those who are full-faced with small eyes, and Shem [Arabs] begat everyone who is handsome of face with beautiful hair. Noah prayed that the hair of Ham's descendants would not grow beyond their ears, and that whenever his descendants met Shem's, the latter would enslave them."

As mentioned, Arab muslims think they are above all others. Of course, Allah agree's, and feels killing those lower than Arabs is no big deal.

Tabari IX:69 "Arabs are the most noble people in lineage, the most prominent, and the best in deeds. We were the first to respond to the call of the Prophet. We are Allah's helpers and the viziers of His Messenger. We fight people until they believe in Allah. He who believes in Allah and His Messenger has protected his life and possessions from us. As for one who disbelieves, we will fight him forever in Allah's Cause. Killing him is a small matter to us."

Ishaq:450 "It is your folly to fight the Apostle, for Allah's army is bound to disgrace you. We brought them to the pit. Hell was their meeting place. We collected them there, black slaves, men of no descent."

[Collected them there? Muslims sure have a lot of different ways to say they murdered everyone who refused to convert].

Ishaq:374 "The black troops and slaves of the Meccans cried out and the Muslims replied, 'Allah destroy your sight, you impious rascals.'"

Bukhari:V4B52N137 "The Prophet said, 'Let the negro slave of Dinar perish. And if he is pierced with a thorn, let him not find anyone to take it out for him.... If he [the black slave] asks for anything it shall not be granted, and if he needs intercession [to get into paradise], his intercession will be denied.'"

"Now what religion calls Jesus a prophet???"

The one which puts a murdering rapist, thief and pedophile who proclaimed himself a prophet- above Jesus.

Seems pretty clear that Mr. Wright isn't a Christian at all, he just pretends to be one in order to get black people to walk into his church and become corrupted by his preaching.

Considering his preaching is also political, shouldn't his temple of Satan loose it's tax exemption status?

It becomes clearer every day what Williams and Obama really are, and how long this plan has been in the works. At least 20 years admits Obama.

And after all that is written, and after all that is said we still see these mental patients, white guilty college kids who have not payed taxes yet, lazy program entitlement members who want to keep the gravey train on time, and moronic believers who believe anything the media throws up following this fake phoney fraud. I’m starting to believe I truley am in bizzaro world!

"Because to do so would be to declare him beyond redemption, and the evil of Islam greater than the power and grace of God."

No, his redemption is between God and himself. Only he can make that choice and repent. All we can do is show forgivness.

Wright is not a Christian, he is a Crislim.

"The man (Wright) clearly needs his meds. So why haven’t Democrats denounced him? Why hasn’t someone gone to Obama and said, “Look, pal, it’s time to put the ‘past’ in ‘pastor’ and dump this guy. You threw your own grandmother under the bus, so there’s room for Wright under there, too.”

"Because John McCain and other legislators worry that they are easily corrupted, there are legal limits to the monetary contributions that anyone can make to political candidates. There are, however, no limits to the rhetorical contributions that the Rev. Jeremiah Wright can make to McCain’s campaign.

"Because Wright is a gift determined to keep on giving, this question arises: Can persons opposed to Barack Obama’s candidacy justly make use of Wright’s invariably interesting interventions in the campaign? The answer is: Certainly, because Wright’s paranoias tell us something—exactly what remains to be explored—about his 20-year parishioner."

"With each new hate rant by Wright and the silence of Obama on the topic of Reverend Wright, Barack Obama seems to confirm his own moral obliviousness. Worse yet, he seems to have disdain for those who are troubled by his own unwillingness, to break with Wright.

On his new campaign plane, Obama said he has spoken with Wright in recent days and disputed any suggestion that he or his campaign have asked him to stay out of the limelight.

"I have talked to him," he said. "I haven't asked him to do anything."

Walter Williams: "For the nation and for black people, the first black president should be the caliber of a Jackie Robinson and Barack Obama is not. Barack Obama has charisma and charm but in terms of character, values and understanding, he is no Jackie Robinson. By now, many Americans have heard the racist and anti-American tirades of Obama's minister and spiritual counselor. There's no way that Obama could have been a 20-year member of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's church and not been aware of his statements."

Thomas Sowell: "It is painful to watch defenders of Barack Obama tying themselves into knots trying to evade the obvious. Some are saying that Senator Obama cannot be held responsible for what his pastor, Jeremiah Wright, said. In their version of events, Barack Obama just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time—and a bunch of mean-spirited people are trying to make something out of it."

Hussein Obama’s racist pseudo minister has turned the Dems' run for President into party's train wreck!

Devastatingly, Shelby Steele writes: “Obama has fellow-traveled with a hate-filled, anti-American black nationalism all his adult life, failing to stand and challenge an ideology that would have no place for his own (white) mother."

Just What Did Obama Know About Wright's Past Sermons? (Plenty)

“Barack Obama either agreed with what was preached from the Trinity pulpit, or he tuned it out and stayed around pretending to for political reasons. To say he stayed for 20 years but doesn't agree with Wright's preaching is incredible denial. It'd be like a man buying White Sox season tickets for 20 years, attending the games, and saying he's not a fan.”

Obama’s supporters want us to ignore this story… just push it under the rug. While they’ll align Republicans with any obscure pastor who does or says something controversial, they’re trying to convince us that Obama’s 20-year long close relationship with Wright, including his effective endorsement of him, his church and rhetoric with a $22,500 donation in 2006 is irrelevant.

“When Obama decided against wearing an American flag pin, we may all have been a bit too quick to accept his rationale, too quick to find that issue unimportant. Now, that American flag pin has gotten a lot bigger for a lot of us, especially in light of what may have been and may still be Obama’s deeper, and, perhaps, secret, less than patriotic beliefs about America.”

“Wright says that blacks can’t be expected to sing God Bless America because of racism. Obama doesn’t salute the flag during the National Anthem. That sure strikes me as an amazing coincidence since Obama swears he never heard Wright say anything against America.”

Here is the link to the Star Spangled Banner video with obama standing there without his hand over his heart...

Notice her ear ring!

The picture, which appeared on a U.S. Web site, showed the Illinois senator donning a Muslim elder's headdress and robes during a 2006 trip to Wajir in northeastern Kenya. Ahmed Sheikh Bahalow, a retired teacher and elder from ethnically (read Muslim) Somali Wajir, said his community was offended by the insinuation Obama had done anything wrong on his visit. "The Somali community and in particular those living in Kenya have never been that interested in America politics," Bahalow told Reuters in the central town of Isiolo. "But we are following it keenly now because we have been provoked." Wajir residents planned to demonstrate in the town after Friday prayers to show their support for Obama, he said. Those aren't Episcopalians praying on Friday.

We found a series of videos on youtube by an Egyptian Christian (in the US for 14 years) and on one he claims he called Jeremiah Wright’s church and asked how to become a member. When he questioned the phone answerer, he said he as a Muslim and would he have to renounce his faith to become a member of Wright’s church?

She answered - Oh no, we have many Muslims as members. When he asked about Obama, she hung up. Anyway, here’s a link to the first video in the series (don’t know which one has the above exchange, might be the 5th, FWIW anyway):

Why do you like Obama? Is it his support for terrorists, homosexual agenda, abortion, marxism, law breaking, Islam, or something else?

The Obamatroll is still here. She also asserts - check her posting history, she’s here solely to disrupt - that she “knows” that Obama wrote his own book or books - and that anyone cynical about Obama’s visit to his grandmother is political in nature is a mean horrible person.

I don’t know why this troll is still here.

Typical liberal coward. They just show they don’t really stand on principles, they make their decisions all based on marketing. They are the type of people that fall for MLM scams, read “The Secret” and think it is really a secret, send money to televangelists, and get emotional about American Idol. It isn’t principle, it is how a candidate makes them feel.. (which means they are more susceptible to cognitive communication tricks like NLP.)

According to Ryan Lizza's article on Senator Obama The Agitator, Jeremiah Wright is a former Muslim:

After many lectures like this, Obama decided to take a second look at Wright's church. Older pastors warned him that Trinity was for "Buppies"--black urban professionals--and didn't have enough street cred. But Wright was a former Muslim and black nationalist who had studied at Howard and Chicago, and Trinity's guiding principles--what the church calls the "Black Value System"--included a "Disavowal of the Pursuit of 'Middleclassness.'"
