I don’t normally commment on these threads, but I’d like to say a few things.
First, these are discouraging times, with the Republicans betraying the base the way they have been doing. It’s not easy to fight it, but fight we must, and FR is more needed than ever.
Second, we need more people donating. If you can’t afford much, every little bit helps.
Third, it would be great if all the regular donors who support the site would consider upping their contributions, so we can get these fundraisings over with more quickly. I did that myself a couple of cycles ago.
I hasten to add that these are purely personal observations. Nobody put me up to it. I’m not even sure I should be saying it, but it’s what I think.

Ironically, I just went to type “BTTT”, and my keyboard died.

Jim, with all due respect to you, I use to contribute. I did it with great pleasure. But about three years ago, a monitor changed my mind; and I decided to put my money elsewhere.
