I agree. Many refuse to see just how dangerous the un is to our country.

Since its inception it has been so. I experienced it first hand in the spring and summer of 2001 during the KLAMATH BASIN CRISIS IN OREGON

Read the original online excerpts at that site, or download the entire ebook of the incident at this link.

The UN will try and get actual legislation and treaties passed where it can that undermine us. Where they cannot, they will use NGO's to forment opinion and seek to get judicial activism to accomplish the same...which is exactly what happened in Klamath that year.

Ayers publically declared war on the US and sided with our enemies in the 1960s and vilent waged a campaign specifically to bring down our government. If that is not abject treason I do not know what is. He turned himself in under the Carter years (surprise, surprise) but shouold have been found guilty and danced on the end of a rope. To this day he is open about it, unreprentant, and public about saying he wished that he had done more.

If we as a nation and a people allow such abject enemies to be set up as icons and to be promoted to professors to teach our own children...what can I say, if that is not a suicide pact as far as our Constitutional Republic and individual liberites are concerned, I do not know what is.

Then you have a whole coven of them standing up proudly in supporting a candidate for President that they have groomed and promoted? And that individual who is a product of their and his own creation is supported by large segments of the press in this country and actually has a viable chance of winning?

God help us...truly, God help us.

I just read week 1. WOW! What a group of real Americans. Thank you for being there and documenting it.

The UN will try and get actual legislation and treaties passed where it can that undermine us. Where they cannot, they will use NGO's to forment opinion and seek to get judicial activism to accomplish the same...which is exactly what happened in Klamath that year.

Careful now, Jeff, there are those on FR who will scoff and ridicule you for that statement. They are either dangerously naive, or they agree with it. They usually start talking about how our laws and Constitution are paramount and supersede anything the un wants to do.

As a poster said, a frog in water is how they work.

Thank you for the thread. Good job.

You are welcome. I have been around here for a good 10 years and have seen a lot of folks of all stripes come and go.

The recent ruling by the Supreme Court regarding treaty law and how it effects the several states was a blow to the UN and others wanting to us the Constitution to justify pushing an agenda through treaties, thereby over-riding constitutional and state laws.

That was only round 1 for them. They'll try again until they get a SC that will sympathize with them. Ginsberg believes we should integrate our laws with the International community. I'm waiting to see if the L.O.S.T. is going to be passed. That will be the tipping point for what happens to our country.

What was occurring here was the result of the brave and committed actions of a few ... a few who would not compromise their fundamental rights. I indicated that it was my impression and intent that such and attitude must continue. Pump more water around ... keep driving home the point that fundamental rights are not up for arbitration or compromise. When you compromise fundamental rights ... you lose them.

What profound sentences those are. Bravo!

I think a lot relates to human beings’ remarkable ability to believe a lie, no many how many times it’s told, no matter how implausible it may sound, no matter how much history tells us that it can’t possibly be true.

Why do these Nigerian email scams work?

Why do people fall for the used car salesman’s scam?

Why do people get sucked into Ponzi schemes?

Why do people at the height of a bubble believe “this time it’s different”?

Why do people buy timeshares? Join these “buyers networks”?

Make huge $$$ working from home?

Go see carnival acts - see the 2 headed man etc?

This lie is communism. We can have free health care. We can eliminate poverty. If we’re nice to people all over the world, they’ll be nice to us. We can rob Peter to pay Paul, and Peter won’t mind and keep working just as hard as before. It’s a temporary tax. It’s a “user fee”. We’ll put the money in a lock box.

All of the above things when you shine the cold light of truth on them are as implausible as all the others. There was a lock box just like there is a two headed man.

Yet, people line up to see both.

People believe because they want to believe. And the con artists know this.

That’s my opinion anyway.

And because scum like ayers and fonda and all the rest support the lie (communism) people line up to support them.

Sure it’s crazy, but that’s how I see it. Am I wrong?

Officer Redfield was suspended by the Klamath City Manager after this speech.

Did he ever get his job back? I haven't read the next installment yet.

Well said, both of you!! The “something for nothing” mentality of socialist parasites is what links all of these America-haters. Weatherfreaks, jihadists, various sundry communists and socialists..... they all are purveyors of the latest verions of “Nigerian email scams” and “Ponzi schemes”...... they think they can violate basic laws of economics and human nature without disastrous consequences, and no matter how many times they are proved incompetent and worse, they pop up again with some slightly different twist (sometimes no new twist at all) and pretend they have the answers.

As stated, something easily addressed with no insult or vitriol

Agreed. No vitriol intended. Constructive criticism only...hopefully taken as such.
