Charlie Black (loser) of McCain’s campaign says they are pulling it, but they say they are not?
We shall see!

I don't know much about Richard Moore, except that he has done less than an outstanding job as NC State Treasurer. On the other hand, I know much more about Beverly Purdue as she is from nearby Craven County in eastern NC. She has done a lot for education in the state, including the Community College System by which I have been employed for the past 24 years. IMO, she was one of the least objectionable Democrats in the state.
Bev, as we call her here in NC, had always seemed to me to be somewhat conservative for a Democrat. Once she started running for Governor, however, she began to sound like a traditional liberal, complete with new giveaway programs, such as "free" college education. I believe that she had at least halfway committed herself to support Hillary Clinton, but, once Obama began to look like a winner, she came out for Obama. With what we have discovered about Obama, it is appalling to me that either candidate would endorse him because, as Linda Daves said, his values are completely "out of sync with the values of North Carolina".

“I think that the demoncrats should expel Hussein and Clinton and take John McCain as their nominee. He fits them perfectly.
Then the Republican Party could nominate a real republican.”
HEYYYY, what if Clinton gets the nod and convinces McCain to be her VP!!! That would empty up the GOP seat and then things could really start happening!!
I need more alcohol.

My first reaction to this was to be annoyed with McCain, but what you say here makes me wonder if I should be....I tend to agree with you. It reminds me of the middle name flap. Everyone now knows Obama's middle name is Hussein because McCain said he didn't like people using it. This commercial has now had National airplay...more bang for the buck!

Linda Daves, chairwoman of the N.C. Republican Party has more and bigger *stones than McCain, Bush and most of the R's in Washington.
