My point was the lib media will do anything for revenue, even the NYT getting Ann. If it happened, yes it would be a
coup for us.

Heard a rumor that CNN is going to give Tony a daily 30 minute show commenting on politics from now through the election..CNN's tentative working title for the program...

Maybe it’s a case of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer.

No, I didn’t realize that. I knew he stepped down from PressSec due to cancer, but didn’t know his current condition or prognosis.

Thanks!

That's about all I can get out, now that I know all the details.

Don’t be so sure about that..Tony holds his own when he is on Bill Maher’s slimefest.

My CNN devoted mother-in-law may become a Republican and not even know she did since CNN is her source of all things true.

Love you both, but don’t think I can watch CNN long enough to check to see if Tony is on. Maybe a ping to his show/commentator times would let me catch him.

Best of luck to you, Tony, and hopefully all will go well for you.

Can’t agree with you, Fox, on your CNN/Lou Dobbs appeal, but as always we can respectfully disagree! ;>) I’ve been unable to listen to Lou Dobbs Radio show, and on TV I don’t watch either he or Shep, and I avoid Geraldo at all cost! However, I still much prefer Fox to CNN!! Guess I’m just one of those Right wing crazies I keep reading about!! ;>)

Are they still fining on-air people for use of certain words (i.e., $100 fine for saying “foreign” instead of “international”, if I recall correctly)?

Will he ever make mention of “The French International Legion”? Or “The International Service Bureau”?

Let’s just hope he never has to rush to the E.R. to have an “international object” removed from his eye (reminiscent, in a way, of the cook who got the Purple Heart for an incident that happened while cracking eggs — the medic wrote it up as “removed shell fragment from eye.”)

"Tony is an honorable man. In everything he has ever endeavored to do, it has been with a sound, ethical foundation."

If you say so. But still, I'd like to know why he erased his ENTIRE history HERE (reminiscent of the airbrush jobs on "official portraits" in the old USSR), and, climbed into Bush's Viva la Amnesty! program like it was a cheap clownsuit when he took that job.

generally there are certain personalities on FNC that cause automatic surfing.

The nanosecond Geraldo appears on TV the channel is changed.

Pretty much the same for juan williams, unless there is a panel, or hillary clinton interviews.

Fox needed a kick in the pants - they've been getting lazy lately. And they still don't have HD.

Simple economics.

With high-resolution video, the makeup costs for their aging blonde crew would go through the roof. When they trade them in for a fresher lot, they'll be able to afford to go HD.

BTW, am I the only one who finds the Fox "News" dress code to be beyond ludicrous? It's particularly obvious when one of their news women is standing up next to a female guest. The guest will be "appropriately dressed" while the Fox employee will be standing there with what, from the waist up, will look like "professional business attire", but, looking south, will be a mini-mini-skirt, barely going halfway down the thigh.

I don't know if it's Rupert's tabloid roots, or Aile's fantasy life implemented as policy, but it's stupid, it's absurd, and it's offensive.

Hey, PTD, glad to see you have returned from your Law and Order duties. 8)

It is really nice to be loved, but does your husband know about this? More importantly, does Vinny know about this?

I watch Lou Dobbs, not because I am a populist as he is, but because it is such great fun to see a news anchor call our errant political leaders “idiots” and describe wacky judicial decisions as “unconscionable”. Believe it or not, I even watch NPR. One, to get a different perspective, and two, they actually have conversations on NPR and not just shouting matches or thirty second sound bites.

So it's you! I always wondered who the Right wing crazy was.

Hi!

Hope I’m not in trouble with Mrs. Fox (soon to be Mrs CNN??)

I do on occasion watch the MSM for chuckles, but CNN just annoys me, it doesn’t entertain! Since my blood pressure runs high enough as it is, I figure I won’t do anything to set it off! ;>) Guess I haven’t watched the right Lou Dobbs shows to hear his humor. I tend to put him into the Bill O’Reilly pompous a— category!

So, guess I have officially become that Right Wing Crazy!!

Normally one would need a knotted rope, a bag of meth, and a sex toy...but I think Tony Snow can handle it without the accoutrements.

Winning post of the day! lolololol
thanks!
