Doesn't apply. Reread that. It says States cannot make anything but gold and silver coinage as payments for debts, etc, etc.. this isn't a statement that applies to either individuals nor federal government. Because States do not mint their own currency, this is somewhat of a moot point. IF, however, a State wanted to pay debt outside federal currency, they are Constitutionally authorized to create a gold or silver coin to pay that debt. This does not say that Federal currency is not valid if not gold or silver, nor does it say that an individual doesn't have to pay with currency other than gold or silver.

..and just a little other point of contention, the States can use the gold and silver coin to pay its debt, however, that cannot be used as 'money' per the previous sentence: Section 10. No state shall enter into any treaty, alliance, or confederation; grant letters of marque and reprisal; coin money;..

Just as the courts will rule when the United Nations decides to impose its own explicit tax on American citizens (in addition to the current indirect tax collected by the federal government to fund UN activities).

Probably because the 16th Amendment to the US Constitution overrides Title 26.

I am curious where they get that Title 26 says that one is not liable to income taxes. In Title 26, it specifically outlines who is liable.

The Table 26 ‘out’ is a myth.

I hope no one goes to jail over the bad advice in this article.

Is gold and silver the only way to pay State taxes?

Of course not.

One can pay one's state taxes in any federal tender. States are not allowed to unilaterally create new forms of tender within their boundaries except for silver and gold.

Usually the Title 26 scam is used by making claims that the words "employee", or "citizen" or "person" do not apply to the individual taxpayer.

In other words, castles made of sand regarding supposed legal distinctions between a corporation as a "person" and natural persons, etc.

To paraphrase Zell Miller, I sometimes wish tarring and feathering tax collectors a la “John Adams” on HBO was still in vogue. But, alas, we end up giving these pricks more toys to compensate for their genitaliac shortcomings.

Why is this article called “Ron Paul’s Boot Camp for Nontaxpayers”? I’m not aware that Ron Paul has ever advocated not paying your taxes, I’ve never seen any indication he’s ever instructed anyone on how to do such, and the article makes no claim to the contrary. It’s a list of old nonsense from a bunch of reality-deficient tax protesters and one quote from Ron Paul about civil disobedience that says nothing about taxes at all.

I know you didn’t write the headline or the article, just pointing out that nothing on the linked page bears any resemblance to the title.

I would suggest clicking on the abuse link at the source article. In addition to that, I feel this is misleading people into committing a federal crime.
